Great brewery with exceptional beers. I try to get them whenever I see them. They tap house is pretty cool and has a great vibe and décor. They have beer in cold cases to take away too. I like the huge area behind the bar displaying all the taps. Staff was very nice and extremely helpful.

What a great Downtown Vista Main Street place! The whole street is charming! My daughter & I went for an evening event. Several artists with a wide range of styles showcased their work. The vibe is laid back yet "happening". The decor is modern & hip. Great wine selection, reasonable prices & extra helpful & friendly staff. Tasty panini!!! Parking is free. Clean restroom, I love that there is also outdoor seating! That makes it pet friendly!!! A great stop for a girlfriend's day out, a couples night or just for a bite to eat! I hope to return soon!

I love this place! I cant believe I walked by it so many times without stopping in! I went in by chance yesterday and was so impressed by the vibe, the wine, the food, and the amazing customer service! So glad this little gem is nearby!

A great addition to Vista Village, this quaint, clean wine bar has a solid selection of wines from California, Italy, and France. You can sit at the bar and order tasting flights, glasses, or bottles. My friend and I ordered a beautiful cheese plate, an amazing Greek salad, and a flatbread. Everything was fresh and well-presented. The flatbread was huge but sparse on ingredients (my only complaint). Looking forward to my next visit!

This lil corner spot reminds me of Ramona wineries; cozy, friendly, great wine and even better bites. Mother's Provisions seems at odds to some of the other establishments in town but when the weather is nice you can expect some traffic inside. Lately I've become a fan of their flatbread paninis, they're very tasty, with well balanced flavors at a far price. The charcuterie board is a popular fav as well. Pretty big fan of their wine selection even though I admittedly haven't been through too many. Sometimes the thought of the local pubfood just inst appealing, and this is where I turn. :)

I moved to Vista from Santa Barbara about a year ago. However, whenever I miss being home in the wine country I can go to Mother's Provisions and am instantly transported back. They have a great wine selection, beer selection and their new menu is really yummy. The GM shops personally several times a week so that the ingredients are as fresh as possible. I took a friend - also a foodie/wine lover from Santa Barbara - and we had the best afternoon eating and drinking! We started with the "pick 3" cheese tray, then shared the Greek salad, Buffalo chicken flat bread and chocolate trilogy cake. Everything was delicious. The portions were very generous. The presentation was lovely. The place was immaculate and the silver was even polished. No detail was spared and our experience was top notch. I can't wait to go back!!!

Under-appreciated gem in North County. Only gotten better.

I was looking for a local place for a "first date from online" meet and greet, and was surprised to find this nice little wine bar in downtown Vista. If you need a place to meet up with a potential date from online, but want to keep your options open for either a "quick drink and bolt" or "this is going great and let's see what happens" evening, I recommend going here. Just sit down and order the cheese plate and glasses of wine, and see how that goes. By the end of the cheese plate/1st glass, you'll know if you want to order another round or call it a night. Highly recommend for a first meeting from online dating!

How much fun is this place!!! It's a 10 Lots to look at, awesome location and killer selection! Come down and support this business! If your a local you will for sure run into someone you know! Beer and food are complemented by the atmosphere!!!

Just visited this place with a friend on Friday, 1/18/19. We both really wanted to like Mother's Provisions (MP) but unfortunately walked away with a less than positive experience. It started out great with me ordering a hazy IPA ($6) and my friend ordering a nice glass of Chardonnay ($8). The young lady serving us was awesome and efficient talking with us while serving others and changing the specials board from atop a stepladder. Wish I could remember her name to give her props for the first part of the visit. After another beer and a second glass of wine we noticed that the wine is on their special display in the store for $13 a bottle so we asked if we could just take the rest of the bottle and be charged $13 and she says "sure no problem". MP advertises on their web page that there is no corkage fee for your wine purchased there. During the next few minutes, there is a shift change and the new girl that came on (sorta blue dyed hair and tons of maroon eye makeup) closes out our tab and charges us $23 for the bottle of wine after which we explained that it was stated to us that the wine would be $13. She says sorry and refuses to make any adjustment. We also showed her the display for $13 Chardonnay and point out the website advertises "No Corkage" charges. She still sticks to her no adjustment attitude. We left unhappy after feeling we had been misled by unfair pricing and advertising practices. Neither of us will ever return to Mother's Provisions.

Great wine bar, right next door to Mother Earth Brewing. Many wines, and flights to choose from. They also have food in-house that is well made.

Exactly what downtown Vista needed! I've been waiting on a place that serves mostly wine and as a bonus, the food is delicious!

Yummy cheeses and meats, tasty wine with half price on takeaway bottles ... Great service, beer always an option.
