Flavor was not there. Wet burrito salsa is very sweet. The combination with the meat was not the best. Customer service was not the best. They also took the wrong order and we just had to deal with it. It was fine

The food is also very good here. They will take out anything you need taken out for example onions so that you don't get a tummy ache if that upsets your tummy.

CATERING REVIEW This review is overdue but I still wanted to share. I ordered food for pick up for birthday party of ~50 guests. Manager was very helpful. I needed to call to increase the # of guests once and it wasn’t a problem.
Food was hot and ready on time. Person working was very friendly and helped load it in the car. We got tacos - carnitas, carne, and pollo plus rice and beans, tortillas, and chips and salsa. It was a big hit. Lots of compliments and plenty of food.

Yikes. What a sad experience. Service was cold, unfriendly, unhelpful. Atmosphere was dirty, sticky, unwelcoming, no music, and empty during peak lunch hour. Food was not good. There is so much great Mexican food in Vista, so many authentic, love filled chefs and cooks and menus. This isn’t it. I would recommend you take your money to one of the much better Mexican places in the city.

The only bad thing is when I was eating the beans I almost broke my tooth on a giant rock in the beans . Please sort the beans better for rocks .
This was the size of a quarter of the size of a bean. It so it could have been sifted out if using metal mesh .

I had tacos from here once. They were wonderful. I have been here 3x since and have not had a bite of their food. Every order is incorrect. The staff is is extremely rude. Today 8/9 i orderd ground beef tacos. I also bought chips. How do you mess that order up? How is that they would not give me salsa for my chips. They said that is extra money! Then they offered me multiple sauces with my tacos for free. Not a big deal but staff was incredibly ruble and ruined the experience! Paying 20.00 for 4 tacos I can do many places in this city without the rudeness. Too bad I really enjoyed the food the one time I ate here. How rude were they? Rude enough for me to leave my tacos that I paid for!
One if not the best most aunthetic Mexican food out here. Lots of gizos that you can't find at local taco shops. Highly recommend

Food is a 8/10. I never took the time to ever rate this place bc I was embarrassed but I went over once while my classmates and I were working on a project @ the Starbucks next door and I do remember the cook smiling at me but I was sh around that sametime so I was super nervous and didn’t smile back. When I got my food it had a pice of wood, like a toothpick or something. So sad.
