We wanted to have authentic Mexican food so we found Oscars - had a great takeout meal at our AirBB and had so much leftover we made a delicious breakfast with the addition of some scrambled eggs. We were especially impressed by how thin and light the tortillas were, and we loved how the food was fresh and not at all greasy. The portions were huge and priced very affordable, Nice staff-

Really good authentic mexican food! Huge portions at good prices. And the service is super nice! Can absolutely recommend if you are keen on real mexican food. We had chicken burritos, beef taco, carnitas, carne asado California burrito and guacamole. We got a lot of extra salsa. Super good! Avoid Taco Bell and all of that other silly stuff and go to Oscar's!❤️

We are usually regulars but Just spent $30 on carne fries and there was a baby roach in it!

The Oscar's in San Marcos is way better! I ordered a half order and they put my order down as a full order and charged me for a full order. I thought the price went up bc food has gone up lately. But when I got my order I told him I order a half order and he wanted to take it back through the window. I told him no I wanted to keep my food and no refund was offered. I'm glad it was a full order because the fries were hard as a rock and I could not eat them. It was Luke they retired the fries to warm them back up. ??
