Love the small intimate vibe with Supremes record playing in the background. Ordered Brie and onion rings, sando and blue salad. 45 minutes later… 60 minutes later… 90 minutes later…still no food. We were heading to a movie and starting to worry, so I told the waiter. He said he was handling an other table. He brought out Brie which was delicious but no other food. I asked him to check if the cook hadn’t started the other items to cancel. We had to go… two hours later, he brought out the sando- still no salad or onion rings???? We got a box, took the sando and check and split. The Brie was delicious, sando ok- not sure if this time is normal, but plan for a three hour deal. Disappointing.
A small gem in Vista with American Contemporary Cuisine to savor like non other. Great food and great atmosphere.

Where do I begin...We walk in and stand around for 5 minutes. The server sees us waiting and looks away. He finally acknowledged us and told us that it's open seating. The beer was great, but the wine came in a dirty glass. The lipstick on the glass could be seen across the table. The food was good, but the service was horrible for a Wednesday night. I am unsure how this place is rated so highly.

One of the best restaurant experiences in a very long time. The service was great and every item on the menu looked outstanding. Everything we ordered was great. The people were awesome too. The night we were there they had a band (Jerry’s Kidz) and it really made our night. Our two kids (ages 2 and 5) loved it too. We will be back.
One of my most favoritest places. The food is incredible and matched by the atmosphere. The owners are wonderfully personable and have become fast friends. There's a plethora of things to do, whether it's playing obscure records or odd instruments to painting on the walls, diy crafts, salsa lessons, belly dancing, watching a movie outside or just having a lively conversation with the owners, there's never a dull moment to be had. I can not recommend this place more. Ps ask for the rueben fries-you're welcome ?
So I've got to say for 2022. This was the biggest pleasant surprise for me. Gastronomically speaking..I've always driven by this little quaint place called Partake and had never stopped to have a beverage in some food.During Christmas time we were hard pressed to find a restaurant that was open and we passed by this place and noticed that it was and decided to eat here.We were seated and enjoyed an adult beverage, which I am certain of is procured regionally to support the local breweries and wineries. We then ordered three of the appetizers.Fried pickles with homemade ranch dressing - My humble opinion on it is that they've got the dressing down. My very very minor complaint is that I feel they use the wrong batter for the pickles. Nonetheless, it was delicious.Home fries with their special sauce cheese - simply amazing and tasty. Very nice thick cut fries that were perfect and hot. The sauce was almost of like a smoky Chipotle sauce with what seemed like very unique toppings on the fries as well. It was even accompanied by a warm salsa that had a nice spicy heat to it. I could eat the whole plate if you left it in front of me.The other appetizer we ordered was the brie which was quite honestly the only way I can now eat Brie. Essentially, the chef/ proprietor puts the brie between two filo dough squares and bakes it in the oven. It is simply perfect, the Bree is perfectly melted and sits on with. With seems like if I had to guess macerated cranberries perfectly sweetened and accompanied with a tart granny Smith sliced apple. Which is then a accompanied by perfectly warmed baguette bread that you would break apart and enjoy with the appetizer. I cannot tell you how amazing this was and that the chef deserves much praise.Based on that I was looking forward to eating dinner. At which point I always like to order the house burger as a measuring stick. This chef did not disappoint. That burger was easily the best burger I've had in two to three years. It was presented with a side of the steak fries and what look like a third to a half pound of if I had to guess ground chuck, resting on a perfectly toasted brioche bread covered with two different types of cheese which must have been melted in a salamander (perfect) with what I would assume is homemade ketchup on the side. When I bit into the burger it was medium well (I ordered medium) but very juicy and satisfying. It had a chutney or some type of concoction smeared on the bottom of the bun which added an incredible lively flavor to the burger. I think of this burger daily (almost daily). I will be back. This makes me want to come back several times to try every single thing on his menu. That burger was sublime.Whatever you do in 2023 in terms of eating out, do yourself a favor and support this gastropub which I will definitely rank in my top three places to eat in San Diego now.

Delicious burgers made with love by chef Aaron. They make everything from scratch. Amazing food. Great place to hang out and enjoy some good vibes
Because of the construction it is hurting this place, Please Go!! Well worth it. The food was fantastic! I had the steak and my business partner had a flatbread and we tried the bruschetta too which unlike most had mozzarella on it and could be a meal in itself. The balsalmic reduction was wonderful and the sauce on my steak was out of this world. They make all from scratch too. We sampled several wines and she told us about a free wine tastings they are starting to do on Sunday afternoons! Definitely a great place for a drink, snacks or a meal.
My friend and I just tried Partake for the first time. The owner-chef Keith came over to our table and spent a few moments telling us about his challenges with the road construction outside. It’s a shame because the place deserves so much support- and yet sometimes it can be intimidating to get through the construction zone. The food is fantastic. Please give it a try. ITS WORTH IT!
Fun open mic music. Super interesting tacos... Brisket, lamb, etc

Went there yesterday, Tuesday, August 16 at 5:30 and the place was closed. Nobody there. No sign. No nothing.
Unique atmosphere, food was really good. Loved the service and the vibe. Cool patio and a band too!
A glass of wine and charcuterie is a good choice; especially listening to good live music!
Good food and Amazing monthly bellydance showcases by some of the best Bellydancers in San Diego?
Amazing atmosphere and run by wonderful people. I am so grateful to know the Love family, and their food is amazing. I have loved meeting the musicians here, and the open mic nights are a lot of fun.
