I guess I haven't made a review for this spot yet, but I've been eating here for years. Service is always great, food is wholesome and filling. I usually get the chicken flautas plate or the enchiladas de mole(their mole is pretty mild, some places have pretty spicy mole). The salsas are top notch and fresh, but can very spicy so be CAREFUL if you're not used to them! The house style (chunky) red salsa is less spicy, and better suited for new comers to Mexican cuisine. Aguas frescas are always delicious and fresh as well, I order the mango or the pepino- lime. They also serve coffee here as well as different beers, sodas, and water. There is usually plenty of seating here, there is a restroom, as well as TVs inside. Highly recommend this sit down home-style restaurant if you live in, or are visiting in the Vista area. My family loves it and will keep coming back!!

I’ve been coming here for years, mostly for breakfast or lunch, and the service, hospitality, and food have always been excellent — especially the service. This time, I brought a friend for dinner for the first time. The food was just as amazing as always, but the service was unexpectedly terrible. I honestly felt embarrassed and kept apologizing to my friend. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, the service was really disappointing. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, and this place is one of my favorites, but I hope sharing this helps things improve. At least the delicious food made up for it.

¡Que padre! I’ve had a lot of menudo in these types of restaurants, but this menudo… Órale. So much tripa, so little maíz. A perfect balance of chewy and creamy. In my next visit to Vista, this is where I will be eating A LOT OF MENUDO! The image you see is what is left, if you want a full pic, come order this for yourself. I will absolutely be back. ¡Ándale!

The food has been good in the past but we ordered four (4) breakfast burritos and they forgot the “Breakfast” part of it, 90% refried beans 10% eggs…not good at all.
