I really like the food from this place the only thing I would suggest is to have a person with better knowledge and fluency in the language when taking phone orders Unfortunately it took me longer to place the order due to lack of understanding than my meal being prepared.The gall that takes orders over the phone can definitely benefit of more training ?
I’ve gone to Tacos Don Paco a few times the food is pretty good and service is okay and atmosphere is basic but clean. Tonight was the first time I came across an issue and it’s unfortunate it wasn’t resolved. I called in and ordered a California burrito that would be picked up. When I ordered I had asked what comes in the California burrito then I asked for no pico de gallo however when I received the burrito it had onion and cilantro when I called to ask why they said that the guacamole has onion and cilantro in it. If I ask what comes in the burrito it would have been a good idea to mention that the guacamole comes with onion and cilantro. To tell me that is just how it comes like instead of taking accountability for not letting me know when I asked is unprofessional. Then expecting me to drive to give you the burrito and get a new one the same night is ridiculously inconvenient for me. You could offer to give me a new one or a discount for the next order. When an issue arises in a company the way you handle it says a lot.

I have lived in San Diego for 5 years, and Tacos Don Paco is THEE best Mexican food ever!!!! The rice and beans were right, the Birria street Tacos are AMAZING, and my hubby loved the Tortas!!! They have so many salsa options as well, each were perfect! I cannot say enough about how great the food is here!!! Thank you!!!

Holy Santa Clause!! ? Literally the Best ? Fish Tacos ? ? in San Diego. I was blown away. Phenomenal. Explosion of flavor in my mouth. I can't say enough about this place. The Salsas are also on point. ? ? I love the Chile Serrano salsa and the Habeñero ?. I will be back again very soon.
9 different types of salsa. Flavorful Carne asada. Fresh produce and ingredients. I will be going back for sure. I would recommend it. Decent price. Friendly staff.

Two friends of mine brought me here after I asked for some Mexican food coz I was craving it. Never heard of this place before, and so glad we came here!The food was delicious here and they had so many different salsas and all tasted delicious! I got their lengua, cabeza, carne asada and chicken. All tasted so flavorful and the meat was tender. The horchata was also delicious and fresh. Service was prompt and friendly - food came out hot and fresh. Prices were also reasonable. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again!

Great portions, legit salsa station, accurate pricing for what you're getting. I love that they take phone orders and always great customer service.***their beans are made with lard*** -- we asked in case anyone else is wondering or cares about this. We don't eat pork products so we're sad about this but everything else we've tried (quesabirria, tacos, carne asada fries) have been mouthwatering! 10/10 recommend Don't forget to tip and be nice to all humans!
