I've been here a few times now and every time, I swear, it blows away my expectations ❗The plates are clean and the flavors substantial. The last time I ate there I had the chicken kebab....damn that was a great plate! I've also had the lamb plate and again the food was superb. I highly recommend Taverna Mediterranean.

I thought the customer service was not so good! Resume furry uninterested in assisting me. I ordered the gyro sandwich combo; and at the end when given my order I was made to get the drink from the fridge which was inside the counter. I tasted the french fries and they were sour: as if they put lemon on them. Not that tasty...

Normally I don't like to rate restaurants as taste vary from person to person. But this spot right here I have to give them a positive rating. The food is delicious. I had the gyro and chicken combination and my wife had the falafel plate. If you get a chance to check this place out you should do so.

This time, when we went to enjoy lunch, it was just awful. No ice, no fountain drinks, the guy at the register was everywhere but the register. The food was awkward today. Definitely will not be returning it seems to have lost what touch it did

Wow was I surprised about this one. Wasn’t expecting it but man they really delivered. Some of the best Mediterranean I’ve had in the states. Had the gyro platter and it was phenomenal. Had everything I wanted in it, meat perfectly cooked, perfect temp, soft pita. Absolutely coming back asap.

Todsy I walked in and ordered their Combination Plate.it was outstanding, the salad was fresh and crisp, the badmati rice so good, the chicken and gyro meat a little more done than I like but very flavorful.The employees were very friendly and helpful. I will order from them again..

I ordered on DoorDash & I'm SOOO BUMMED!! It's not good guys... I ordered the Vegan Gyro Sandwich, and it was just burnt veggies in pita bread.. very misleading. I also got the Feta Fries .. nothing like Kebab Shop (the fries are like fried with garlic/oil and they put pickled onions) the presentation for the fries was super disappointing... for Mediterranean food, one of the most glorified for healthy, they give it a bad name, mostly a bad name for themselves.... one star for making the food, and one additional star for being on DoorDash.. zero stars for quality...
This use to be my favorite North County eating establishment, but yesterday was a bust. I was the only customer inside and ordered a falafel sandwich for lunch. I can understand food prices have gone up, but for close to $13 with tax, it was a measly sandwich. Unlike their gyro sandwiches which are packed with meat and other ingredients, this one had at best three smaller sized falafels. I will give them another try, but since they are not the closest proximity wise, that will be it. Guy waiting and serving me was polite.

I've been meaning to leave a review for this place for a while now it is definitely my go to order online and have it delivered to my house Mediterranean food! I used to work at a Greek restaurant so I'm pretty picky about this kind of fare, but have never been disappointed with this place. We ordered a combo plate which comes with one chicken kebab one beef kebab and one lamb kebab on a bed of rice with a grilled tomato and a side salad with a piece of pita bread. We also ordered a side order of Falafel which are huge! The food here is delicious I wish I would've taken pictures next time I will and post them here, it is really really good food can't say enough about this place. If you're looking for legit Mediterranean food especially because so many places do not have Lamb anymore. Think about heading here or getting delivery next time.
