Original Pancake House Vista

We were seated quickly, made it seem hopeful for good service. Had to ask twice for everything. Wasn't impressed with the pancakes. Fresh ingredients are always better 😌 😏 pancakes were a little under cooked but that's just my opinion 🤷 It was my first time visiting don't think I would go back.

The food was okay overall. Great pancakes, and the service was decent.

We ordered two plates of Eggs Benedict’s, and 3/4 poached eggs were overcooked to the point of being hard.
We sent them back and asked for new ones, and 15 minutes later received three in a bowl of water and uncooked whites. They were undercooked now and not seasoned at all.

Great place for pancakes and crepes, not Benedict’s.

This place is always good to eat at. The experience is great. The only reason for the 1-star deduction is because the restroom was awful. Walked in and the smell was overwhelming. I just held it until I got home. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Went for breakfast with my nephew and everything was great, the service , and food were excellent. But the breakfast menu is above and beyond the normal breakfast cafés in this area. Great food great service, oh yeah my coffee cuo was never empty...

Food taste was decent, kinda bothers me when a menu says “A Thick slice of honey maple ham” and the slice comes out thin as the fork. Kind of a little bit of false advertising. Slow service. Doubtful I’d visit again.

The stars say it all. It’s not good. Had the potatoes in 2 different things and they were bad. No mimosas because they don’t have a liquor license. Staff are amazing and kind.

Generally quiet, good service, staff friendly. Omelets are ample, frittata-like. Fluffy, stuffed with ingredients. I had meditteranean with spinach, tomato and feta. Coffee is good.

First time here, food has lots of flavor. Buttery omelets, and we tried the apple pancake. The apple pancake is big and tastes almost like apple pie with extra cinnamon.

Went in on 11/15/25 to the vista location and service is very mediocre and simple. Our waiter did the bare minimum. Was not attentive. Seemed bothered that we had to call him over from a hostess after waiting and clearly the restaurant was not busy. The environment was very poor in service. No one greets or welcomed us when we came in nor when we left and again the restaurant was not busy. I do not see myself coming back here again. If you’re goin to work in customer service please at least make it enjoyable if I’m paying. I could’ve left without tipping but I still did. Will not be coming back again and the staff needs to work on their customer service.
