This family restaurant has freshly made delightful food, i can't tell you the experience... But when you dine here you travel to the route of where the true culture originated from
Service was great, ordered to go. They were friendly upon pick to too.
Heads up only one entrance and for the hour of us waiting outside in our suv, there were several men smoking. If you can’t be around smoke, it’s unavoidable. They were nice and polite, but it’s a bit difficult for anyone with a walker or wheelchair to manage the gate/door or anyone with asthma with the abundance of smoking.
Was hungry and going to eat there but ate in the parking lot in our suv instead. We were waiting on my daughter and had to go to Stater Bros after so needed to eat before. Food was ok, dinner portions were small and two slices of garlic bread that was heavy on oil/butter but not on taste. Pasta and sauce was hot but shrimp and chunks of mushrooms were lukewarm, as if added right before handing it off. I couldn’t tell which was off, the mushrooms or the shrimp, but I didn’t finish the mushrooms because they were huge chunks and not cooked. I wish i hadn’t ate the shrimp. A few hours later it hit me hard. It was so bad.
Several neighbors have ate there and when I mentioned what happened, they said oh no, no, no, you get pizza there. A few other choice items. But never ever shrimp. They were unanimous, never ever get shrimp or any other seafood there. They just said trust us. But pizza, the pizza is good and safe they said. And they all love Uncle Tony. But added again, don’t ever get shrimp or any other seafood there. Well no worries cause I learned the very hard way, several hours of regret having ever tried anything there.

I used to come here a lot with my old boss. He'd often take us here for lunch. I liked this place so much I started coming on my own. The atmosphere is great. The owners are so welcoming, and the food is yummy. It's so yummy I literally spent nearly $300 in 2 days getting takeout. If you like authentic Italian food(although I think they're Sicilian) and good service, this is the place to be. It honestly feels like they treat everyone like family.
There was a customer there last night who was short by a few bucks. The owner didn't make him feel bad and offered to cover it, telling him to pay it back when he could. I'm assuming he was a regular, but I still thought it was such a kind thing to do.

Every meal is made to order, so if things take a bit longer be patient it's so worth it. Food is absolutely delicious the bruschetta is top notch, try the cacio peppe, or the pizza , or any pasta dish or the amazing calamari! Been going here for years and it's always a great experience like going to Uncle tony's house for dinner! Great service, awesome atmosphere and delicious food! All around a great experience! Family owned!

We ordered Breaded Eggplant & Mushroom Ravioli, Tiramisu & NY Cheesecake. So delicious!! Best Italian meal from a restaurant we’ve ever had in CA! They even arranged to deliver our desserts when the delivery driver left them on the counter at the restaurant. We’ll be back!

Seriously??? Better than the food and really, I don't think you can get better than what is served here is the service. The young lady who waited on my wife and I was such a “people’s person” with a warm personality. She cared about our order and when the food was served she kept coming back to see if we were doing ok? It wasn’t till we were ready to go she came over to box up our food and said “this is really bothering me….. she said there isn’t enough sauce and the food will dry up!” She then took the leftovers into the back and re-sauced my wife's food. Now, as for me, I ordered “the works” pizza and when she told me that their pizza is New York style I somewhat frowned because to me…NY Pizza is floppy and I do t like that. When the pizza arrived the crust was crispy and not floppy and the sauce was so garlicky and good that everything popped together and was EXACTLY what I wanted in a pizza.Seriously good place! Atmosphere, Food and Service is all I ask for and this was it! So thank you to all who made our dinner awesome. With love and respect…..The Placentia couple.
