Food is always delicious. Teach cashier to listen better. I repeated my order 3 times to make sure she heard me.. She paid no attention and order was ruined. Not the first time this has happened.
I ordered a chorizo burrito. What I ended up receiving was a burrito stuffed with egg. I was extremely disappointed and realized. If they do that to their burritos what else do they do to their food.

Not sure what happened to Valerie’s Vista. I’ve been coming here for a long time but something has changed. I let it go the last few times I have been in but I can’t honestly support them any longer. The food has gone down the drain my last couple experiences as well as forgetting to add items that were ordered. Hopefully this will inspire the owner to make some changes as they were my go to Mexican food spot at one point. Ordered a California burrito and paid for extra guacamole. There was No guacamole on a burrito that was made with 70% burnt and cold French fries. Please do better Valerie’s. $13 is a lot to spend on a burrito that is not as advertised.

Crappiest burrito I’ve ever tried . Burnt fries & there was no quacamole . I threw it away . Just tasted like burnt fries and burnt meet with grease . 🤢🤮🤮

I am so disappointed in this place! After reading some good reviews I decided to give it a try. Ordered a surf and turf burrito and it had literally only 1 shrimp in it the rest of the burrito was disgusting because it was drenched in some sort of watered down sour cream? Next the chicken enchiladas, they were so-so at least some decent chicken in them but so slopped together that I had to recreate them at home in order for them to be edible. The stuffed burrito, well the only thing edible were the 2 rolled tacos in it. This burrito was also slopped together and we didn't even eat it. I would have taken it back and tried to politely speak with someone there but by the time I got home and reassembled their mess of food it was already past closing time. Not to mention the fact that the girl who took my order was super rude to me! I was a first time customer, bee- bopped in there all happy to give them a try and she was a total buzz kill and ZERO help at all! She got mad at me because I paid with my card and hit the no tip button but had $1's in my hand for the tip jar that she didn't even acknowledge, what's a person supposed to do, I tried 🤷Well anyway, needless to say that was my first and last time at Valerie's taco shop! Side note; the ice cream shop that's connected to Valerie's is awesome! The girl working the counter was really nice. If I ever go back there I'll draw my imaginary line and not cross into the taco shop! 😎✌️

Hole in the wall that I frequent every time I visit Vista! The food is very good. The salsas are bomb! Not much of a seating area but that doesn't bother us becuz we order to go. Love the food!
Parking: Strip mall parking, service is so fast, if parking is full just wait 5 mins for a spot.

Had a horrible exchange with this man in a Valerie’s t-shirt claiming to be the owner harassing me and other customers buying from this place El Sazón de Oaxaca! I am local who loves to support small businesses and Valerie’s has always been a hit or miss with their food, customer service has never been great, and now with this experience I will never be going back! Don’t forget “The sun shines bright for everyone”
