Definitely will be back, good food and perfect mimosas. Great service, but super slow kitchen times for Easter Brunch. Nice management team. ?Wishing this restaurant much success.

When I called I asked to sit outside..when we arrived there was a private party and we had to sit inside. The street corn appetizer was horrible. It tasted like frozen warmed up corn with very little cheese and no cilantro. The French dip was good, and my husband had the Carnitas which was also good.Miguel (I think that's his name) was very nice and a great server.Won't be back...

New ownership. The place is maybe 1/4 full and they completely messed up orders. Table of ten and 5 of us recieved meals, other 5 had to wait 20+ minutes. The second round arrived and were on smaller plates and literally half orders of identical meals that were delivered earlier. Another 20 minutes passed and the other half of the plates showed up. One of our guest order fajitas, but they forgot to bring tortillas. After several reminders, they brought them 30+ minutes later. Fajitas were cold, and they did not offer to reheat. Good luck with the grand opening... I give them 6 months before they close.

First time that my family and I tried this place. The name and menu has changed. The green enchiladas were fantastic! My wife loved her cheese burger. Great service!!! Will for sure go back.

New Restaurant in Vista and it was great. The staff was incredible and the food was outstanding. The Habanero wings were worth the spice the flavor was truly memorable.

Wow, what a terrible customer service experience. There's a band I was trying to come see on New Year's Eve and I called to see if there was any availability last minute, even if it was super late in the evening. I talked to Avery, who was really nice and tried to be accommodating. I explained the situation and how I've been coming to the restaurant since it was La Paloma, it held a very special place in my heart and I wanted to come in before they shut down. Also mentioned it was my boyfriend's birthday and wanted to make it a special one since it always get overlooked bc of the holidays. Avery said she would see what she could do - that's when things took a really weird turn. Jeanie hopped on the phone and was very abrasive from the start. I explained that Avery had been helping us and her response was a harsh, "yes, well I'm here now, so what is it you need??" I reexplained the situation and mentioned that I'd been made to believe that someone would pick up to help figure out the ongoing situation. I had to reexplain everything and was met with more harshness, "Well, I'VE been here since it was La Paloma too and I'm also experiencing getting people in on NYE," like it was some kind of weird contest. I told her "I know it's last minute but there's no need to be rude about it, I was just trying to check bc it was a really nostalgic place for my family." She cut me off in the middle of my sentence to tell me my experience wasn't valid and there was nothing she could do. Really really off-putting and unnecessarily rude :( Maybe there's a reason they're closing down. I've had good experiences before this, food is pretty good, service has usually been fairly friendly. But you'd think people would have a bit of compassion around the holidays. Wasn't expecting for them to make an exception for me when they're busy, but Jeanie could have at least been nice about it. I've only written a handful of negative reviews, but this was a really unpleasant experience.

There's plenty of free parking and the restaurant interior reminds me of some type of tex mex restaurant that's slightly dated.I've been here a few times and it's pretty solid. We always get the fried pickle chips. The chipotle aioli dip what elevates this appetizer.I was hesitant about getting the mole because I've been spoiled when I went to Oaxaca. Since then, I've had a tough time finding a restaurant that had great mole. I asked the server if I could have a sample of their mole and they were super kind to oblige. It wasn't at the Oaxaca level but it was one of the better mole I've had (I've had quite a few and some were so bad I couldn't even finish it). The chicken mole enchiladas were great and it came with a side of beans and rice, which made the meal feel complete. It was very filling and I took half of it home to go.I'm not going to lie but the leftovers after they were reheated tasted even better. I don't know if it's because the food had time to marinate in the flavors but I was so happy.I recommend going during their happy hour, they have amazing deals!

Nachos were amazing!! Chips stayed crispy to the very end. Very friendly staff and a nice little bar area. Good beer selection and has a full service bar.Told my friend to take me back here when I visit again!

I almost hesitate to leave this review only to keep this gem of a place to ourselves. We sit in the bar and would be hurt if there wasn't room for us anymore. The foremost reason to occupy this establishment is the MARGARITA. Not just any, mind you. One made by Odyssey. Best in all of San Diego county, and we know, we've been all over looking for brilliance and Odyssey's is the best. There are two blondes that also work in the bar, one's margie is just OK, the other's is just GD awful. Ask for Odyssey or just get a beer.Food. 3 out of 4 times it's incredible. Like we need to know the premier chef's schedule or something. When it's good, it's freaking good. The seasoning of the carne, the salsa, the aolie of the artichoke, holy crud, my mouth is watering as I write this. Wife warned me not to tell anyone about this place. "Let's keep it to ourselves," she said. Hmm. Have to be honest and let it out.Cheers.

Soooo good! Hidden Vista gem!Food is very good and prepared well by chef. My favorite dish is the flat iron stake so far lol. Plenty of room for inside or outside. Cozy bar with fireplace.Fun spot!

went to check out the band and see if this would be a good place to bring visitors. Looked at the bar keep two feet from me for 15 minutes before getting service. Having never been there before I felt I wasn't welcome. Since I won't be going back I'll never have to disturb them again.
