Just so good. We'll worth the trip to Volcano!
Really love stopping here when im passing through Amador City. The olive bread is amazing and the cookies are always fresh and that cheese bread they do is something else. Only thing is they sometimes run out of stuff by early afternoon which is a bummer if you get there late. Definitely worth the trip though and the people working are super friendly.
Stopped at Baked in Amador last weekend with my parents to pick up bread and ended up trying the sandwiches too. Everything was incredible!The bakery itself is so charming, and you can truly feel how passionate the owners and bakers are about what they do. Everyone was so welcoming, and that care really comes through in the bread and the whole experience. Absolutely worth the drive to Volcano, can’t wait to come back.

Baked in Amador is a charming bakery in Amador City that people stop at on a trip through Volcano. The olive bread is amazing and the cheese bread is something else, while the sourdough and jalapeño cheddar loaf bring a spicy taste. Guests love the maple bacon Cinnamon Roll, the Salty Dawg loaf, the molten salt crust loaf and the garlic bread with huge chunks of garlic and bacon. Fresh cookies and drip coffee with cream in a fold‑top origami adult sippy cup bring a friendly mountain vibe to the breakfast experience. The people are super friendly, welcoming and passionate about what they do, and the owners and bakers show care in every loaf. The bakery has limited hours, so it can run out of stuff by early afternoon, but it is definitely worth the drive. People love to stop by again, even mail order, and they will not be disappointed before a journey to Kirkwood or Tahoe.
