I go here almost weekly! That says it all. : )Cream puffs, macaroons, sandwiches are really good, and better yet, GREAT customer service! Polite, friendly and caring! You dont see that anymore. It can be pricey, but the food quality and service are worth it. Am planning to order cakes for events soon.

1st visit here and I ordered the Santa Fe Breakfast sandwich ?.It usually comes on croissant but they just ran out when I ordered (around 11:30am) and substituted with a different toasted bread. It’s a huge portion! Feels like comfort food and enough sandwich for 2 to share.Vibe is very casual cafe style with 4 booths and 4 tables in back.

This is a special bakery! The cakes are works of art and taste delicious. If I have an important occasion, this is my go-to place for cakes, cookies, and pastries. Their sandwiches and lunch items are great too!

All the food here is really good... You really can't go wrong... This place has been open since I can practically remember & I've been eating the amazing sandwiches for years, so that speaks volumes... Its a bit pricey, but you know what they say, "you get what you pay for" & "location, location, location..." As it's located in Walnut Creek... But it's worth it tho... I highly recommend, doing an online order, because you get a free complementary cookie with your sandwich, that's really delicious... I recommend either: peanut butter or the snicker doodle. If you don't do an online order, & you order in person, then you'll have to pay for the cookie.

Great sandwiches and desserts. Unfortunately customer service is appalling. Had run in with manager this afternoon, issue pretty straight forward. Ca State law requires sellers of gift certificates/cards to offer cash back if balance is $10 or less. I had just under $2 left after purchasing some cookies. I asked for the balance back in cash. Nice young man at register asked for managers help, manager came out and told me absolutely no cash refunds, I offered her a look at the 2008 CA statue that clearly spells out the law. She refused to even look at it and literally stormed out of the area to hide in the kitchen. She also refused to provide me her name. Hopefully she was just having a bad day. Please research the appropriate Ca statue, someone is going to come in one day and really get upset. Thank you

My neighbor ordered a 1st birthday cake from you last weekend. It was a cow cake for her Great Granddaughter and the cutest thing I have ever seen. And I am a retired cake artist so I mean what I say. See attached photo of one of my cakes. If you are looking for a really special cake ordered to your ideas for design A Sweet Affair Bakery is the place to go. Shirley Wilson

Very nice ambiance and nice cashier, but the cream puffs (both sugar and chocolate), cookies, and almond croissant were not fresh and were overpriced at $28 for 6 items. Disappointed to taste the refrigerated taste in the cream puff custard and puffs, so they weren't made same day. Some may like the dense, heavy baked, overly sweetened baked goods. I recall them to be more fresh and light in the past.

I love ordering their tuna half sandwich, but everytime I order it WITHOUT FAIL the bottom slice of bread is ripped almost like someone took a huge bite out of it and so half of my sandwich ends up falling out! I'm a little disappointed at how consistently the bread is torn up, i even switch the type of bread from rye to honey corn, and it's still not even a full slice :/

I usually love this place, but skip the chicken salad sandwich. It's actually just a mayonnaise sandwich with absolutely no flavor.

I ordered a carrot cake from here for my mother's birthday and it was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious!

Didn't try the sandwich so I can't review them but i got my daughter cupcakes. We got the dozen and a single rainbow cupcake. They were really delicious. The service was nice and the ambiance was real chill and mellow. It was a nice lunch date with baby daughter after our nice morning play date at Heather Park.
