I had an amazing experience at Alborz. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful Persian décor that made the dining experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. I especially loved Ghormeh sabzi saffron rice.
The service was exceptional as well! The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the menu. It truly felt like a welcoming place where hospitality is a priority.
If you're looking for an authentic Persian dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back

We've found our go-to spot! The Kabab Barg was incredibly tender and flavorful, but the Koobideh took it to the next level. The Alborz Special was truly exceptional. Don't bother looking elsewhere - this place is a gem! If I could give it a 10-star rating, I would. Plus, the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. The kababs were juicy and delicious, unlike the dry, burnt versions we've had elsewhere. 100% recommended!"

As an Iranian myself I come here often with family and i genuinely love the food. I love their maste mousir yogurt in appetizers, their doogh in drinks, their koobideh of course and their gheyme stew with rice. I love the ambiance of this place, the lighting, paintings, and the quiet music and seatings. I don’t understand the bad reviews, this place is awesome!
Delicious foods and good services and plenty of parking.
However, their quality is not as good as many other Persian restaurants in the Bay Area considering the premium rate they charge for the meals.
Is worth a try but they need to improve.

An Unforgettable Wedding Dinner at Alborz
We celebrated our wedding dinner at Alborz Restaurant in Walnut Creek last night, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was incredible—everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and delicious. We had Joojeh Soltani, Koobideh, Lamb Shank, and the Combo Plate as an appetizer. Each dish was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection.
The service was just as exceptional as the food. Mr. David, the owner, was incredibly attentive, checking in with us several times to ensure everything was to our liking. Ms. Zhaleh was also wonderful—so kind and helpful throughout the evening. She even took amazing photos of our wedding dinner, which made the evening feel even more special.
The warm hospitality and exquisite Persian cuisine made this a night we’ll never forget. Thank you, Alborz, for making our celebration truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining experience!
