God food and very friendly, competent staff. Not a particularly good choice for a family dinner since we wanted to chat. It is a vibrant, loud atmosphere that would have been perfect for more of a party vibe than we were liking for.
Bar Camino is a nice place to eat. It's clean, well lit, plenty of tables... all the things I like in a restaurant. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and so I have different take than most when it comes to eating out. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Our server did a great job taking care of us. My only negative experience was the food. We shared the Pollo Mole. I am used to a version with more chocolate and this was more spicy...for flavor; not heat....
This is a perfect place for a warm night out in downtown Walnut Creek! Excellent food and great drinks! On top of that you can bring your pets to the outdoor seating. Although, we were one of the only tables eating dinner outside, they could have come to check up on us a little more. Highly recommended for those people who like to enjoy a great bar and excellent Hispanic food!
