Exceptional and flavorful food, I like the mood the place has, and the workers were friendly. Will definitely come back in the future.

We've been ordering our food from this restaurant at least once a month throughout the last year of the pandemic. It's been consistently delicious. Paneer Tikka Masala is the best I had. The only complaint is that the lentil soup Daal can be too spicy for me... but thats just me. Also, they take Covid seriously and everyone is masked at pick up. Highly recommended!

Delicious and healthy cuisine. A great choice for those with adventurous taste buds.

My family of 4 eat here somewhat regularly, and we absolutely love these people! Very nice family, and the food is always fresh and delicious. My kids devour everything on their menu, which is impressive for a 2 and 4 year old. We have always been happy with our food here. We will keep coming back! My review is for both dining in, and take out.

They have the best korma ever! And kind friendly service. We have been going here for 7 years, always the buffet when it was open and now (almost) weekly carry out. This week I forgot rice and they were kind enough to add it in. Great customer service and delicious food.

Still my choice as best Indian food in the area. In the general vicinity there are restaurants that have expanded into the street for outdoor seating. No such luck for Bombay, whose location doesn't allow this. So hopefully the faithful will continue to support Bombay with pick up and delivery. All the major services are supported, and I've tried several. You can also call them directly. I know they appreciate our business during this difficult time.

Ordered snacks and none of it was fresh. Aloo tiki was only bread not even cooked well. Samosa and pakoras were re re re re fried and stale

We ordered delivery through Yelp at 9pm on a Saturday night. Yelp listed the restaurant as closed even though the time was still within their hours of operation, so we called the restaurant to confirm they were still delivering. This is probably the best Indian food delivery we've had since moving to Walnut Creek.Order: Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Coconut Curry, Malai Kofta, Aloo Gobi, Keema (lamb) Naan, Basmati Rice PilafChicken Tikka Masala was a nice balance of creamy and tomato-y. Chicken was a little dry.Lamb Coconut Curry leans on shredded coconut. Would prefer more coconut milk to flavor and less of the shredded pieces. Lamb had decent flavor but was a bit chewy. Could've been a little more lamb in the curry.Malai Kofta was okay. Good flavor. The outside of the dumplings fell away from the filling in a way I haven't seen before. It was also a bit drier than other versions of malai kofta we've had.Aloo Gobi was oily but had a good flavor. Cauliflower pieces were a bit large and would've liked more potatoes.Keema Naan was a little light on the lamb. Bread had good flavor and texture but they went a little heavy on the char. Would certainly prefer too much char to none when when it comes to naan, however. We accidentally ordered only one rice and the restaurant doesn't send rice with each entrée. It wasn't enough, so we know to order more next time. One order of rice is the approximate volume of one entrée. The rice pilaf is seasoned with turmeric and had a generous portion of peas, but some of the peas weren't fully cooked.

Burnt and disgusting. It was like it was someones leftovers and now today my son and I are both sick! This is the worst Indian food ever. I only tried it due to an uber credit I was given. I feel the health department should go inspect to see what is going on. The pictures are not even close to what the food looks like.

Chef does not differentiate heat levels. Ordered one dish medium and one dish mild. There was no discernible difference in spiciness. Called and asked if the dish had been prepared mild, or if there was some mistake, and the chef insisted it was made mild. Flavor is good at the hotter end of the spectrum, but if you want anything below medium to medium-hot spiciness, go somewhere else. Naan was thick and heavy. Chicken was gristly.

By far the best Indian food in the area! The garlic naan is a must and I always love the butter chicken. 11/10 would recommend as your weekly Takeout pick

I love this place so much. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. The woman who runs it is the sweetest and their food is always piping hot and delicious. I think it's some of the best Indian food in the area, especially the best in Walnut Creek. Their tikka masala is the way to go

Bombay has always had incredible food, I'm definitely not arguing against the quality, but I was pretty surprised when I paid $15 and picked up a serving slightly larger than a coffee cup. It would be nice to get a larger serving for that price.
