Great location and nicely upgrade inside with large nice patio area. Food however was bland and left much to be desired.. not sure why.. but my while family agreed.. other Buttercups have much better food. Not sure if it's the cook at this loacation.. but if the food was on par with other Buttercups.. we would come back. It's unfortunate because staff and the atmosphere are top notch.

Took family for a meal and not impressed. BLT had hard chewy bacon on it, difficult to eat, there was a green smear of supposedly guacamole, lots of lettuce, very very thin tomato. The worst BLT I've had. Kids ordered from the kids menu, spaghetti with a meatball full of some cheese inside was terrible and not eaten. Grilled cheese was OK. Fries were good. Service was not.

Old fashioned diner food. I had an Impossible Burger with sauteed onions and French fries. It was delicious. Atmosphere is old school booths with fluorescent lighting. Service was attentive. I enjoyed and would go again.
It a concert at a baseball park you get all the same experience you get at a game with a concert. You got to love it

The breakfast is very good. In general, the dishes that my family enjoyed were very good. I recommend the chilaquiles. It is a very nice place, very big and with enough tables, the staff is very friendly and the service is very fast. The place is always very clean and with a good atmosphere.

We LOVE this restaurant. We love to have brunch there, and have a favorite server — Debbie! All of the staff are great, but Debbie is awesome! We always sit in her section, which is not unique — she has many fans! We have the toughest time deciding behind breakfast and lunch/dinner food because we have too many favorites. Walnut Creek is lucky to have this classic American diner among our dining options.

They give lots of food for a good price and it all tastes good. The waiter wasn't great but he got the job done and got us everything we wanted. I got the breakfast burrito and they put good ingredients in it. I also got the spicy chicken but it was wings. I'm not sure if thats what I ordered. But the burrito was huge for 16 dollars so i was happy

Quiet, folksy place with good customer service. Nacho plate and beer were very nice. I would be back. Not a place for a sports bar crowd, but to me that's a plus. No space left for their pies - will try next time
