Great place,....if you're not in a hurry. We ate at Citrus Fresh Grill for lunch on two consecutive days. The wait staff were hospitable, and the food tasted great,...when it finally came. We were there with friends for the first lunch. Two meals came 15 minutes before the other two. The second day it took 57 minutes for the meals to arrive after we ordered. The food was great, but it's not the place to go if you're in a hurry.

Citrus Restaurant, situated in the Marriott hotel, provided a deeply disappointing brunch experience this Friday. The service was uncoordinated and seemed inexperienced, making the dining experience unpleasant. We were served cold tea and the overall food quality was sub-par, with most dishes lacking flavor and warmth. The egg Florentine egg Benedicts we ordered were a letdown, with hard-boiled eggs, cold and colorless potatoes, and bland hollandaise sauce that seemed to be out of a jar. Even the bread sides for the omelette seemed to be hastily picked from a closing brunch table. This experience does not align with the previous high ratings that influenced our decision to dine here. I would strongly advise against dining at Citrus if quality food and service are priorities for you.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner at the Citrus Grill. The food was deliciously prepared and well presented. The service was professional and attentive. Chris Presilla (Food & Beverage Manager) and Chef Travis (Executive Chef) were most helpful throughout the planning process. It was a large table of 11. They made the whole dining experience a scrumptious and fun one. It is located in the hotel and may get overlooked. It is a great place for casual dining and for special occasions. The bartenders are friendly and mix a mean cocktail. Check it out.

Absolutely apparent that this is a Chef Driven Menu that absolutely has something for everyone, without the obnoxious 40 page menu. Dishes are delicious, fresh, and surprising! Beets Salad and Pasta was amazing!

Decided to go with Continental breakfast which had eggs and says any style - when asked for an omelette the server says eggs any style includes only scrambled , porches etc and not onlette - isnt onlette part of any style egg - also the buffet was too simplistic and 27$ for a mediocre buffet is pretty expensive - wouldn’t visit again going with how many better options are there near by

For a hotel restaurant, this is the most limited menu I've ever seen. Literally, there's like 6 choices. I ordered the chicken club, and it was the most bland sandwich I've ever had. I kept trying to add salt and pepper to it. Basically like boiled chicken pieces on it. No flavor. The side salad was good. The service was mediocre. Definitely won't be racing back.

Convenient casual dining next to the bay club. Good options for American food and sometimes other specials. Had California club, fries and fish tacos.

Parking: Use bay club parking, totally open

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out. In the hotel.

Chef Travis is amazing. He cooks a special a different 4 course meal every Friday evening. Everything is delicious.

WTH? First- we and several others returning to the hotel from working had to FIND grill staff to wait on us. They were socializing with co- workers and that’s where we walked upon them discussing their customers. Very unprofessional. Food- worst we’ve had in a hotel of this so called caliber- seriously. Couldn’t even eat it. Burnt, soggy, just plain inedible. And that mess cost us 30 bucks. Def sharing with hotel management. We need access to food while here among Covid so we will be moving to another hotel in Pleasant Hill that has options within walking.

This restaurant is in a hotel that fairly recently changed hands. We were there for lunch at 12:30 and very few of the tables were occupied. Still, we had to wait several minutes to be seated at a table that was not set up. Service was very slow, for ordering, getting our drinks and being served our lunch. My friend had the street tacos served to her probably 5 minutes before my fried chicken sandwich arrived. Both of our lunches were OK but dry and somewhat lacking in flavor. Dessert was a shared dark chocolate lava cake that had no lava! On the whole, the meal was a disappointment that we will not be repeating.

I eat very often at Citrus l. The staff is friendly and cool. Never had an issue. Food tends to lean on the healthier side (it is after all catering to the Club Sports members) but it’s still tasty and satisfying.
