Came in Friday evening for an early dinner. The vibe is very good, we sat on the patio in the shade of the trees. My wife orders the Gnocchi, which she said was very good. I had the fish n chips. As another review I read on here, the plate was mainly fries and the fish wasnt that good, if I had to say I thought they were cheaper cuts of fish and not prime cod or another white fish. They do serve a nice non alcoholic beer (St Pauls) which is good for those that have to drive. We will go back, just not for the Fish n Chips.

First time eating here. First impression was not good. Hostess that seated us didn't even smile and greet us. My wife ordered the Caesar salad that had more red cabbage than anything else. I ordered the Tri Tip salad and a side order of French Fries. Our salads came and after about 10 minutes our waitress came back around and I asked about the French Fries. She was honest enough to say she forgot to place the order for them so I told her to cancel them. I asked for some bread and a busboy brought it later and when I got the bill I saw I was charged for the bread. WTF!! You don't take my order correctly and then have the nerve to charge me for bread that other tables got complimentary?!&#% I also had the Sangria which was really bad. Most likely won't be revisiting this place

We stopped in for some Saturday night dinner, there was no wait and we got to pick our own table. Our server Kai was very patient with us and waited for us to make up our minds on the dinner. We got the salmon dinner and the corner Berger with bacon. We ordered the burger medium rare, but it came out a little over done.

The food here is indescribably good and good for you! Service is excellent. The only reason they don't get five stars from me is the ambiance. The interior is wide open with massive amounts of noise from the open kitchen and the packed tables. Go for the food but don't plan on talking much unless you like to shout! Sitting in their heated outdoor area helps a lot with the noise, but still isn't very restful as there is heavy foot traffic from the mall walking right past the tables. The food is worth it though and I suggest reservations since many others feel the same and there's usually a healthy wait at the door

The food here is horrible. If it wasn't for a nice bar and friendly bartenders I would never come back.

My favorite place in JP. The service is amazing. The food is even better! If you love desserts you need to try the Deep Fried Mars Bar. I know it sounds odd, but it's heavenly. Love this place!!!

Came in during happy hour and had such a blast. We ordered some drinks off the happy hour menu and then a meal from the main menu with the artichoke dip to share. I honestly was not a fan of the artichoke dip. The bbq chips and dip were not a pleasant mix for me. These two items did not taste good to me. Separately each item was good the chips vs the dip just not together. I got the happy hour beer and the fish and chips meal. They only offer one beer for happy hour but it is really good. It would be nice to have more options but this one is good and refreshing so not to bad. The fish and chips are really tasty. The breading was nice and crisp cooked all the way through not soggy. It wasn't to thick where it was raw. Perfect amount to have evenly cooked fish with a crispy crust. Yum yum. The fries and coke slaw that came along side were tasty as well. We sat outside on the patio and had a grand time together.

Lovely atmosphere and a very friendly staff. I went there to try some bourbon drinks to see what I wanted at my own event and the waiter was not only kind but very knowledgeable. My salad was great and my fiancee's bahn mi was off the charts. I'll have picture next time but I highly recommend coming here. It'll cost a little but that's what treats are for.

Celebrating Mother's Day here. It was a nice decorated restaurant. Love they use recycled construction materials as decors. Not too sure the mural. Kind of scary to the kids. Food: French toasts with berries was so yummy. A little crunchy, pairing with berries and whipped cream. Kids pasta was great too. My DD loved munching it. My DHs salmon Benedict didn't disappoint. Only down side was the duck sausage. Bland, no duck flavor. Drink: the cocktail was strong, yet good. I couldn't finish it because it's just too strong. Price: affordable and reasonable in walnut Creek downtown. My only complain was sliding doors in front was wide opened. The store is in front of a busy street. The toxic exhaust gas spreading all over interior when a SUV driver decided to keep the engine on and parked in front.

Sad that such a great restaurant isn't so great anymore. Cocktails and appetizers started us off well. Main courses came and what a disappointment. Burger undercooked and cold fries. Bahn mi sandwich had almost no smoked brisket. Was excited about the new chef but really disappointed. Not sure if I'll return.

Chef Mike Romak found his new spot as Chef de cuisine(ExecutiveChef). The Artist I have followed for decades has found his new home just around the corner from my house. I will enjoy every dish from his new Menu, I see a few of my old favorites. AMAZING! Go Eat and Enjoy!!! We took the Steak and the gnocchi. Both were heaven

Ate a very nice lunch here when my grown kids came into town to celebrate my 65th Birthday. Everybody ordered something different in our party of seven and we were seated immediately in a spacious dining room. Wait staff was efficient and attentive. Everyone was complimentary of the food and the selection. I ordered a Burger medium rare and that is exactly how it arrived but piping hot. Fries were crisp and delicious. Cold IPA to refresh with.

Great atmosphere, the food was delicious and the beer and wine selection is expansive. Definitely a great place for any occasion.
