Ordered a super burrito with chicken and shrimp and this is how it turned out. It’s our 2nd time there and first time was great and burrito was a decent size. I’m not sure what happened here.

Nice lunch spot. Dinnner is much more chill. Very clean location, always friendly & fast service. The food is standard fare, the flavors are right but not super spicy, probably to accomodate all clientelle. I appreciate the salsa bar & that Door Dash is an option. Always a good experience.Vegetarian options: 5 items.Parking: Busiest at lunch but shopping center is large.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats. Cups with lids. No kids menu.

I've been here 5 times. Twice for breakfast and three times for lunch. For breakfast I ordered heuvos con chorizo. I get the chorizo over the eggs (like real Mexicans) not scrambled in :) Chorizo is decent. But, the beans and rice are bland AF.Same goes for their meats. I've had the street tacos with carne asada, their quesadilla w/ pollo and their super burrito w/ pollo (both chopped not shedded). Meats are bland, period. First time I've received an order of street tacos w/o a wedge or two of lime included (to go order). Have to serve yourself. As for the quesadilla, same story, meat is bland - despite having an orange hue which I had to presume was the seasoning. Whatever it was, it didn't come through in the taste. In addition, the guacamole they served looked like and had the texture of baby food peas. The sour cream was about as thick as whole milk. The super burrito is anything but super, unless you're talking price. :(I haven't tried their carnitas which is the mark of any good taqueria. Based on my previous meals, I can't imagine the carnitas are anything different than what I've already had. But, I cannot say for sure. Would hate to spend $14/15 on another disappointing plate. On an upbeat note, their flour and corn tortillas are decent...I have to believe that's because they're made offsite.Service is hit or miss. Either friendly and helpful or preoccupied and uninterested in you...the customer.I'll go back for the huevos con chorizo, in a pinch. Otherwise, nah!P.s...they don't provide a small bag of chips, as do most other taquerias on to-go orders. WTF?

After moving here from the South Bay it was a struggle to find a taqueria that had the same "home" feeling as we were used to. When we saw El Jardin was opening up where it is we were a little skeptical given the demographic. However, upon trying it we were blown away and reminded again to never judge a book by its cover. Really phenomenal food (the carnitas is top notch) and great staff as well. Don't miss out, try this place!

I still believe food at this place is just so so and prices are somewhat high side, but rather secluded area, so their business is doing well(?).

I love this Mexican restaurant outside Rossmoor. The food is delicious and the service is great and the prices are reasonable. I like their super tacos (they include guacamole and sour cream) and their chicken quesadillas.
