The best dinner. Lamb shank and sea bass was perfect. Service was amazing. However the noise level with the DJ and screaming patrons was deafening and took away from the dining experience. If you want to come for the excellent cuisine don't go on Friday or Saturday. Weekdays they have an excellent singer who plays many instruments. Very entertaining and does not take away from the upscale dining. The place was packed on the Saturday night we were there so it's obviously working for them. Not for us however.

We went here for date night and had a great experience. Cocktails were wonderful, just like other reviews. The shrimp appetizer was the star of the show for us. Food came out hot and was presented well. This is a lively hot spot in Walnut Creek. There were a lot of "peacocks" out, strutting their stuff, on a Thursday night. Unfortunately, one of the staff matched some of the clientele, but worse. If it wasn't for the emphasis on the huge medically enhanced butt of one of their employees, I wouldn't hesitate returning, even though it was expensive. But the butt in the yoga pants was, how shall I say....obscene? I get it. Love your body ladies. That part of my dinner experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and left me feeling gross.

Came here with friends and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The hostesses (Lili, Berivan, and Andrea) were extremely rude and aggressive when we simply tried to check on our table. Instead of handling things professionally, they escalated the situation and brought out the manager, Bikiram, who falsely accused us of being hostile and refused to seat us. We were calm the entire time, just trying to get a table. The staff had zero courtesy or professionalism. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I have never left a review before, but the experience my party and I had at this restaurant was too upsetting to ignore.
We arrived hoping to sit outside and were told by a staff member that we’d need to wait until 9pm. As we noticed tables starting to clear out, we went back to the host booth to check if our table might be ready. That’s when things took a turn. One of the hostesses, Berivan was immediately hostile and told us not to come up to the booth and to go back and wait to be called. I calmly said, “Please don’t speak to us so rudely.”
Instead of deescalating, she brought out another hostess, Leili , who also spoke to us in an unnecessarily rude and dismissive tone. Again, we reminded them we were just customers trying to check in and didn’t deserve to be spoken to in that way.
To our shock, they then brought out a third employee, Andrea, and the manager, Bikiram. Rather than listening to our side, Bikiram accused me of being hostile and claimed that I was “waving my fingers” at the staff (which was not true) and then told us they couldn’t serve us ; going so far as to say that their employees would “sue him” if they did.
We were calm, respectful customers simply trying to get a table. Instead of being treated with basic decency, we were met with unnecessary hostility, false accusations, and ultimately kicked out of the restaurant without reason.
It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated like this, especially when we did nothing to deserve it. I hope this restaurant takes feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat customers with courtesy and professionalism. We won’t be returning.

Having lunch at Elia was such a great decision! Every single dish we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend this place—it’s perfect for a date or a meal with family and friends!

Food was overpriced and mediocre and atmosphere is loud/clubby. Lots of reports from multiple social media platforms of both men and women having drinks spiked here followed by management showing up to play dumb and pressure people to take down posts. Even if the initial reports are untrue the restaurant reaction makes me unwilling to support them.
