There was a time when this was the go-to stop for an amazing sandwich and food. My father used to get the ravioli every week. Back when this company was on Telegraph the food tasted like was made with love. Like it was curated for a reason. Once the establishment went to Walnut Creek it started catering to a very bland crowd. You dumbed down your recipes to appease a crowd who don't care nor appreciate what YOUR great food taste like. Over the years you lost it. Now it's sadly on par with a sandwich from Safeway. Go back to your roots.

Food is good. I tried a few of their sandwiches. The breads didn’t taste fresh. Service is very slow. Prices are way too expensive for what you get. Menu is very hard to read.
I hope they will improve on above comments. I want the business to do well.

This is a great place and I’ve been coming here for years, but they have the music turned so loud that I can’t hear what they’re saying. I wish they could turn the music down a little bit so I could hear what they’re saying to me.

Remember to get your number when you walk through the door as the first thing, I have been going here long enough to know I get two numbers and look at who is in there before me, this time an elderly gentleman was at the end of the counter waiting for service, there were four people when I walked in and then the line quickly grew to a crowd when the elderly gentleman realized it was a numbers so he went to get a ticket and the look on his face went to I have to wait another 20 minutes when I walked up and handed him the first ticket I pulled.. that said sandwiches once again were great. This is my second day in a row getting sandwiches. I will say overpriced but thats our 47th economy.. I really kinda wish I would have added ravioli or lasagna cause it is cold and raining today.

They never have enough ravioli’s shelf are empty. Also they need a cashier to deal with a person that has one item to go that doesn’t require making a sandwich.

Arrived at 130 pm on a Monday. There was 5 people working. 2 people in line in front of me. Took 35 minutes to get 2 sandwiches made. The lady helping confused the sandwiches and then was rude about the mistake.
Paid 25$ for 2 half sandwiches which were probably the smallest half sandwiches I have ever had.
Better off going to Morucci's.

We used to love genova’s but, sadly, the food and service have really gone downhill. The ordering process was slow & chaotic with some people getting served without numbers + the menu was super hard to read with all the changes. The sandwiches were small and not as tasty and I thought the deli case looked dingy and dirty.
It’s such a shame/ I hope they can bring the magic back.

Ordered sandwiches to go. Got home and my daughters sandwich had several long hairs in it, like someone brushed their hair on her sandwich!

One of the slowest experiences I have ever had. From door to leaving with sandwich-45 minutes. Not particularly busy, they just work very very slow. Sandwiches were good though.

They did not know what a mufaletta was even though it’s on the menu. They were out of salami even though there’s countless salami sticks hanging overhead. How can an Italian place ever run out of salami?
