They never have enough ravioli’s shelf are empty. Also they need a cashier to deal with a person that has one item to go that doesn’t require making a sandwich.

They used to have a place in our neighborhood in North Oakland, but those days are long gone. So we came here for the same deli treats, imported food, big sandwiches, nice salads.

Their sandwiches are devine! But get your mind easy ready to wait in line. Unless you call ahead. But it’ll be well worth the wait. The clam chowder is also amazing! So good!!!

Have been coming here for over 25 years. Love this place hard for me to always break away from my Mortadella sandwich. But I do. A lot of great things to come in and get to take home for dinner too! Great people!

I go here a lot!! This is the BEST deli in the Bay Area. I moved here from NY in 1988 and I couldn’t find any deli to cut close to NY deli’s till I found Genova’s. All great food, salad’s and desert’s. So glad I found you! Great staff too

I went today and I had received an email offer of a 30% discount on my purchase, which was about $80.00. The guy who waited on me did not honour the discount. My family and I HAD been customers since before World War II back in Oakland. After today’s sour and unnecessarily stupid experience in Walnut Creek, WE WON’T BE BACK. We prefer spending our money in Oakland with honest companies. So long, Genova!
