Well we've been to the one near Napa many times before, with the food always being delicious and the service great. The atmosphere there is also what I enjoy more which is an outdoor country Southern setting.
The setting in Walnut Creek is obviously downtown, so not exactly the same but still very enjoyable I must say. Plenty of outdoor seating that spanned around the block corner because the restaurant is on the corner of the street. The walls to the restaurant are... 'open' during business hours and it's very pleasant– I know that must sound strange, and I'm not exactly sure how they do it.
We ordered 2 the pineapple Burgers, a couple orders of onion rings, a hazy beer and a Gott's frozen wine slushy type drink (for the lady).
The burgers and onion rings and beer were delicious as usual. The wine slushie drink was eh.
Now, the only reason I understandably gave service 3-stars was because I waited at the bar to order the drinks, and waited easily for 10 minutes. Nobody was back there the entire time. There were two couples sitting at the bar enjoying their food and drinks already. I looked around and asked a lady that was at the cash register nearby if there was anyone working back near the bar because I've been waiting for 10 minutes, and they said they'd be right there. So I wait, and wait, and wait. Still nobody. 5 more minutes goes by, the girl apparently finishes with her duties and sees that I'm still waiting looking directly at her and finally gets the hint, looks around doesn't see whoever is supposed to be back there and then comes behind the bar and says may I help you. I kind of looked at her with a look of like aren't you going to admit you were wrong– and then she looks down at the ground knowing I've been waiting for a while, finally apologizes and serves the drinks.
It could have ruined somebody's time or Vibe if somebody wanted to make a big deal of it. I didn't. Just got the impression I didn't want to go back, and I would look forward to going to the Napa location soon.
Garlic fries were greasy and cold. The burger was mostly bread. Lousy burger for $17. Do not recommend.
Really good burgers and beer selection. My new favorite spot.
Every time I order via caviar or DoorDash, they never include the mayo sauce that comes with the Fried Brussels sprouts. I’m paying for this sauce, yet they always make sure to NOT include it. Will I ever get the order that I paid for?
Worst food and experience I have ever had. Literally go anywhere else.
Not good and expensive
The place looks nice, the service is good no complains (but it’s a fast food place so they don’t really do that much). The food is bad hamburger didn’t taste like hamburger they should use real meat for it idk. The chicken tenders super heavy and oily, fries were nice. Lemonade was the star of the show so if u want lemonade come here (the only thing is that it’s gonna be TAX). Really expensive place for the food they offer.
Gott’s is so delicious and tasty that eating here feels like I’m cheating on my usual go to of In-n-Out. They have truly nailed the art of gourmet burgers with high quality ingredients.
I wish I could gatekeep this Gott’s location because to me it’s the perfect combo of kitchen staff that know how to make good food, large open interior with plenty of seating, and decent parking options nearby.
There’s usually a line out the door but don’t worry it moves fast. The food comes out fairly soon after too and everything is to die for. My favorites are the double cheeseburger and the cali burger but you can’t go wrong with the chicken dishes either. Garlic fires are also a splurge here as they taste so buttery. Finally don’t forget to top it off with a soft serve which is made with Straus milk (my favorite!).
So happy to have a Gott’s location near me and can’t wait to come back again!

Burger patties are sometimes dry and overcooked. But the rest of the menu can be great.

It is one of our favorite burger shops in the Walnut Creek area. It's quite busy during lunch and dinner times, so you may need to wait for an available table. You can order both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

I tried Gotts Roadside recently, and their vegan burger was seriously so good! It’s got great flavor, and the texture is just right—not something you always get with plant-based burgers. I also loved the sides. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the soup was really tasty too. Overall, everything was super satisfying. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good vegan option!
