It’s hard to rate this, it’s not that the burgers are bad or the food is bad, it’s just it’s always slow to be served, and always luke warm because the staff are snails at getting the hot food out. I haven’t ever had hot fries, or onion rings, let alone a hot burger. The smoke on the burger and the meat are good quality, the condiments are good, it’s just the service is slow, un caring and dare I say either understaffed or just poorly managed? Whatever it is, it’s probably good on off hours when not busy. Just don’t come for a dinner, I’ve never had a good experience. If it wasn’t for my kids loving the buzzer I don’t think I’d ever come back.

Its glorified fast food, and i dont think thats necessarily a bad thing. But you cant make fast food slow. I waited 35 minutes for a berry lemon freeze, and it still wasnt ready.

If you're looking for a place to chug a few beers and have a mediocre hamburger, this is the place. I love the Gotts in San Francisco for its atmosphere in the ferry building and maybe that's what makes the food a little better. Or it's just better there. I ordered the California Burger and it was kind of on the dry side. Couldn't really taste any bacon. It was just meh 😕. It's a very loud inside and the tables were not quickly cleaned off. The fries were decent, but if I were to have a burger elsewhere I'd probably look at smashburger the melt. I like the interior concept of a roadside cafeteria so it does have that but this location just seems to be missing something.

Food was fantastic. Service was counter service and Atmosphere was kinda cafeteria style. Still a great place for a casual bite in Walnut Creek.
The food was alright. Nothing terrible but not all that great either. But for the price and especially charging extra for sides. It’s just really not worth it. I would go to any other burger place in the area. You will get much better bang for your buck.

My grandma said the chicken was dehydrated like they left it out, and the chicken tasted like fish like they used the same oil for the chicken, though the chicken did taste good

We had a few different burgers, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The burgers were okay, except they were a little too greasy for our liking. Others might be fine with them that way, so that's why I gave them an okay rating. The indoor dining area has a fair amount of community dining tables to interact with other customers, but when there are a lot of young kids running around, it can get a little chaotic.

This last time I tried the hot honey chicken tenders for the first time and they have got to be the best I’ve ever had. The seasonal waffle fries were also bomb
