Poor hygiene practices: the young woman preparing our waffle cup cleaned her glasses and held a dirty rag then, without washing her hands, immediately barehanded our waffle cup as she scooped ice cream into it. Gross.
Food is little expensive but the pork belly sandwich was very filling.
Great milkshakes and smoothies!
We really love the Ube Milkshake!! What a surprise on this hot day!!! Will go back soon!!!
Got an Ahi Island Bowl with sauce on the side. It tastes amazing. Everything was very fresh. I love the Thai Tea Milkshakes too. I would go here every day if I could!
Finally got to try the WC branch. Halo-halo is a must try.
This place has great food and a good atmosphere. The food is a little expensive and the menu is very difficult to read because the text is so small. This can be a huge problem because I can't eat seafood, but I couldn't read the small text on the menu, so I had to ask the employee at the register what items didn't have seafood.
I just grabbed lunch here, got the Island Bowl with ahi tuna and half garlic noodles / half rice. Flavors were outstanding. Very generous portion, the seared ahi was really well prepared, and those garlic noodles are uh-mazing. Didn't try any of the milkshakes but am really interested in trying the ube next time I go there. I rarely see ube on the menus around here and I get excited when a place has it. If you know how delicious ube ice cream is, you understand my excitement. The place is small with limited seating but the decor is super cute and the space is very clean. People who work there were very friendly. Pricing is similar to the poke spots in downtown. I am definitely trying the pork belly next time. My new go-to lunch spot has been found. Aloha & salamat :)
Ube shake was delicious and the staff are all friendly and nice. You should also try the Halo halo it was great ?
My first time here at Guava Island Eats. It does have a total island vibe, from the decor to the music and the food. We didn't get to try their food because we just had brunch. Our goal was to try the Delicious looking halo-halo (Filipino dessert) and the smoothies. We ordered halo-halo of course, it did not disappoint. Huge cup good enough for two. The toppings were amazing...you'll see in my photo. Honey comb crisp, dried coconut shavings, and the Ube syrup! Yumm! We also ordered the mango smoothly, Ube and guava shake. Can't say I've ever had guava ice cream but they let me have a taste and I knew I wanted the Gauva shake. I recommend it 100%. I loved it. So smooth and it's not heavy in the tummy. The staff were very friendly and kine :). The prices are standard price as any smoothie or shake. I'm coming back for the bowls next!!!
