Went here for drinks with friends recently, and this place was great! Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior, this place is one of the top whiskey bars in the country. We couldn't believe the selection. Staff were also super friendly. They really made our night.

Had a really dope atmosphere the food was OK. The beer was off the chain, I went there one time and the service kind of sucked and then I went there the second time the service was horrible so I just left.

Must visit if you’re in Walnut Creek. This place has 50 solid beers on tap with 40 rotating taps. The whiskey and bourbon selection is mind blowing. Staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Highly recommend all the way around.

Like the place. Great selection of drinks and amazing food menu. Specially love their chicken naan tacos, NY style pretzel and old fashioned. The bar staff is good and service is quick. Presentation is nice. Overall, good place for hanging out with friends or just solo dinner.

I love coming here. The service is great. The food is great and of course the drinks are great.
If you're after a finely crafted cocktail, Hops N' Scotch is the place. Their takes on the classics—especially the Old Fashioned—are consistently excellent. And good news: the naan tacos are back. For those who know their whiskey, their selection isn’t just a list—it’s a Tolkien-sized tome of options. Whether I'm starting the night or winding it down with a nightcap, this is my go-to spot.

Food is mainly flatbreads and BBQ sandwiches from Slow Hand down the street, but with about one-third as much meat. There was literally more cabbage and mayo on my sandwich than brisket.
The first time we visited, we were shocked at how bad the service was, but thought it must be a fluke or just a bad night. We made the mistake of coming two more times with a group of friends only to experience consistently horrendous service.
For the price point charged here, there are far superior places to go to in the immediate area.

Went there looking for a place to charge my cellphone. I had a beer, some wings and they charged my cellphone. Nice place. I’m from out of town. Will definitely be back.

Great patio seating. Good beer. Cocktails could be better.
Love the space and food was delicious. The only flaw was the service. Never got what I ordered and needed to remind the staff of my order. Additionally, they ran out of many items on the menu so hard to pick and choose food items

Surprisingly not a lot of people. Naan tacos were incredible! Great service - def would come back and try more!
Great drinks, great food, great service. Perfect for after-work meet ups. Loved the happy hour options!
I’ve been there twice in the last 2 months, and the bad service happened again! No one acknowledged us for 15–20 minutes after we were seated. From the already limited food options, they were out of nachos and quesadillas. The staff seemed irritated. Very surprising for such a nice-looking bar. Go to downtown Walnut Creek instead—until the management improves here.
So happy I found this awesome place with amazing unique cocktails and friendly staff. James was great! One of the best kept secrets in Walnut Creek.
Met up with some friends and had some barley wine beer, which hadn't been around for awhile. Quite tasty.
The service was cordial and quick, with a nice atmosphere. Definitely would return!
