We have eaten here often, and were disappointed to hear it was closing on February 24th after many years at the same location.. The owner said they may reopen in another location after some time to relax. If they reopen they will keep the same name and will post the information on Facebook. They have great food and also serve beer.

I had lunch at Jade Garden last week. It is always nice to be greeted in a friendly manner when arriving at a restaurant and also when being with the server. She was very short with me and told me to sit. The restaurant was quite empty but she only took my order and walked away, she was very unfriendly. As for the food, it came quickly. I ordered the Sweet and Sour pork. The pork tasted funny, was very tough and chewy. I spit out a piece and it looked like a red meat. I asked the server what kind of meet it was and she said "pork that is what you ordered." I didn't finish the lunch, it was so bad. I would not go back there.
The BEST Chinese restaurant around. We have been eating here for 30 years!! It is STILL the freshest best quality. If you arrive in the afternoon the owners are sitting at tables slicing fresh vegetables for the dinner entrees. After visiting other Chinese restaurants we always go back to Jade Garden. Highly Recommend
Food is good and consistently so. My favorite dish is Tai Chi Chicken which I order everytime and my husband's is Tomato Beef. Service is efficient.
Chow mein didn’t really have any flavor but I’m going to finish it anyways. just gonna add the leftover pork Szechuan sauce, orange chicken wasn’t that great only ate three pieces and pork szechuan was kind of okay.
We just tried this restaurant and it was horrible. The sweet and sour prawns were spoiled and the pineapple was soar. The rest of the food was just as bad. There wasn’t enough soy sauce or hot sauce in my kitchen to make this ‘food’ taste decent. Never again!!!
Great food, super fast service, great service and owners
My family's been coming here for the last two decades, maybe longer. In the last 10 years it has gotten progressively worse way overpriced when everything seems to have been boiled or steamed so that it tastes the same. Very bland and unflavorful. They're spicy stuff isn't even that flavorful and doesn't have any spice above the level of pepper. Very rude over the phone and in the restaurant.Way overpriced for the convenience store level of food quality and half the amounts of other Asian restaurants.
We moved to the neighborhood recently and thought we'd give this place a try. The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. I think its probably on par with Safeway's hot bar Chinese food. My husband and I have been to Asia many times and thought this was very mild and bland compared to what we expected. It's a shame because the location can't be better.

We have been eating there for over three years and never had a bad meal. I especially like being served HOT food not warm food. Our favorite restaurant by far.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I have been going here for over 13 years, and I just love their food(especially their chow mein). If you're looking for something a little less pricey, go at lunch time, and get a one of their lunch specials. Delicious and cheaper!
The sweet and sour chicken is out of this world maybe some of the best I ever experienced
Great food!!! I have been coming here for 19+ years!!! Hard to find good Chinese food, they are the best in the bay area. I love the broccoli and beef, fried rice and fried wonton.
