This has become my go-to quick lunch or dinner, I can't get enough of their delicious lemongrass tofu options for the banh mi, vermicelli noodles, and spring rolls! Online ordering is easy and has the vegan options clearly marked. Service is fast and the price is surprisingly cheap for the portions you get, one banh mi for 9 bucks can easily fill you up for a meal. Parking is easy on the street or inside the plaza. Walnut Creek doesn't have a ton of great cheap vegan options around so this is not to be missed.

I was looking for places to eat near the hotel I’m staying at and this placed popped up. I had the lemongrass tofu banh mi and it was tasty. It’s a little bit spicy so it grabbing the Vietnamese ice coffee helps it. Definitely would come back here.

Great food here however patrons should be advised there is no indoor seating and this location does not serve hot food. The guys they have is extremely fresh and tasty. There is ample outdoor seating for those who wish to eat there. Parking is metered on the street. Service was efficient and friendly.

I love the food here. The people who run it seem very kind. It took me a while to notice that they do have patio seating in the back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Probably not the best for wheelchairs.

Kibi’s Cafe is an absolute must-visit in Walnut Creek! I had the tofu banh mi, and wow—it was perfection. The tofu was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. The pickled veggies added the perfect tangy crunch, and the baguette was fresh, airy, and perfectly toasted. Every bite was a perfect balance of textures and flavors! Their menu has plenty of other delicious options, but this sandwich alone is worth the trip.

One thing to note—there’s no indoor seating, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot, though they do have some outdoor tables if you want to eat there. Also, calling ahead to order is a game-changer since they can get busy, and it’ll save you a lot of time waiting. Whether you’re a banh mi lover or just looking for a fantastic meal, Kibi’s Cafe delivers on quality and flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Small little café with big flavor. This place is a gem! The pork Bahn mi was amazing and I wish I would have got 5 of the spring rolls! Very clean and organized inside and they're fast.

Great banh mi for the price you can't beat it. Got 2 pork banh mi, 3 spring rolls and viet coffee for under $40. The bread was fresh. A lot of meat and veggies. Staff was super friendly. No indoor dining.

I tried the vegan lemongrass tofu banh mi. It was a solid sandwich. I liked that their menu was clearly labeled and they had multiple vegan options to choose from. #Veganuary
