The servings were generous but the quality was disappointing. I had a katsu curry bowl and the breading was coming off. This to me suggests the katsu was not freshly made and would explain why it was flavorless and tough. I was disappointed and although I might try other dishes I can't stand being served potentially old or frozen food.

Everything was marginally okay but definitely not good or great. Went in looking for soup because it is a foggy foggy day and we were cold. We were immediately told that despite what is posted online, they do not have soup so my husband got the wagyu curry Don and I had the stir-fried chicken udon. My stir fried chicken udon had way too much gristle in it which I kept having to pick out which was fairly disgusting. Both were like I said okay but not what we went in for and not what we wanted. My husband had a soda. I stuck with water so for a mediocre at best meal we paid $36 do the math on this one. It's not worth it. We won't be back

This place is a great place to have Japanese dons (rice bowls) as there's a variety of options. I've had the onyako don (egg and chicken) as well as the katsu don. A few times I've doordashed and other times I've ordered directly and all times service was great with quick service. Ambiance of the restaurant is good as well and it's more of a Togo place but does have dining area.

Such a hidden gem in walnut creek--food was super yummy and the portions are definitely worth the price. The server was kinda shy and quiet but was really kind nonetheless. Definitely coming back!!

Amazing food, and the service was great, the ambiance is very nice and cozy. I definitely recommend going here. The little cats on the walls just make the whole experience even better too.

I’m giving 5 stars for making the best katsudon I have ever tried, meat is tender and juicy, onions are perfectly caramelized and the egg is perfectly cooked. The Wagyu beef Sukiyaki Don is also really good, the soup alone is enough to satisfy your taste buds. I think all of their food are freshly prepared and mostly cooked upon ordering.
The fried chicken was raw inside. The overall food quality is lacking. The staffs are friendly though.

My daughter and I were craving tonkatsu curry in a hurry and this satisfied our appetite. I would have liked a few more carrots and potatoes, but there was a hearty amount of pork and rice. The curry itself was good, similar to my favorite boxed curry. My husband ordered mapo tofu and loved it. We also appreciate that they sell chilled yuzu and plum sodas.

walking distance from the main street and all the shopping. Very flavorful Udon (got the stir-fry Udon) and Katsu Don (with curry) plus some small plates. Will come back to try more.Only negative was not having a kids menu but their offerings were kid friendly enough with the edamame, gyoza, etc.

Food is decent, just a little too much broth in my rice made it soggy at the end. Takoyaki was perfect. The owner was really nice and helpful. Interior was cool but a bit cold and the booth seating was kinda stained and gross, so just use the chairs or order to go.
