This place is beautiful! The food was gorgeous and delicious! Legitimately the best sushi I've ever had! I had the grilled lamb chop, monkey brains (phenomenal) and I tried Uni for the first time and monkfish liver! If you want legit Japanese fare, this should be your new go-to place. I know it will be mine!

This place may have tasty sushi but not once, not one single time, have they gotten my order correct. I love sushi with one exception: no mayo, no mayo of any kind. And every single time they tell me yup, got it, no mayo on anything. The receipt will say it, "no mayo on ANYTHING". They'll go talk to the chefs and clarify: no mayo on any of these on this order. Yet not once in the last 4 times we have gone has that happened. Mayo on at least half our order every single time.

Excellent! Traditional offerings with modern upscale touch. Chris ,the owner, is great at what he does and very humble. I would recommend this restaurant before any other Japanese restaurant in Walnut Creek. We will definitely be back soon!
