An authentic spot in downtown Walnut Creek with a unique and diverse menu.
The sangria pitcher is a must--huge, delicious, and easily serves six (maybe more).
The snapper in the ceviche rocoto was a standout, fresh and flavorful. The pork belly bites, however, lacked seasoning and were disappointingly tough. We tried the chicken skewers based on our server's recommendation but found them underwhelming.
Overall, a cool spot with some hits and misses. Would return for the ceviche and sangria!

Good ceviche, I think the chicken was a little on dry side. Paella had a lot of flavor, and steak was nicely seasoned. Little on pricey side but normal for walnut creek. Place had street parking and bathrooms were clean. Waitress wasn't really present and changed service in middle and next one didn't really do anything but collect check.

We re regulars to Limón, back from when it was just Burlingame—now Mountain View, and most recently, Walnut Creek.
Our server, Roberto, sets the standard for restaurant care — prompt, knowledgeable, kind.
Limón’s menu never disappoints (why we keep coming back) but what sets it apart from other high end cuisine, is its’ exceptional service.
Thank you, Roberto!

I rated this place 2 stars not because the food wasn’t good but because after eating here for so many years we come to find out that this place fries everything in the same oil. Pork, beef, chicken, empanadas, cauli flower, the chips, the Yuka fries all in the same oil.
What’s upsetting is that not everyone eats pork, maybe nobody eats chicken or beef, or what if a person is allergic or vegan? How can you cross contaminate foods in the same oil?
There should be a different fryer for meats and vegetables, regardless of what it is and especially a different fryer for pork.
Please fix this issue Limón before someone gets sick.

Fantastic restaurant located in a great location. All the dishes our party ordered were excellent. The food came at a reasonable time and the presentation was very nice. Drinks were on point, great balanced cocktails, and unique beer selection as well. The trio ceviche was yummmy a great choice to kick off your dinner. The roasted chicken was great, well seasoned, and juicy. The pollo saltado had a great blend of flavors. To wrap up dinner, we sampled all the desert selection.. I must say the Panna Cotta was light and very flavorful while the chocolate bandido was a bit more heavy but jammed pack with delicious chocolate love
. Customer service was fantastic... very friendly, excellent knowledge of menu items, and always willing to provide service with a smile. A must try on you next outing. Enjoy!

Amazing service, food, and drinks. We went on a Friday night and had a great time. Hats off to the bartender 😁. Only downside is, I wish they had a little more vegetarian options for meals. Ex - one vegetarian entree versus the seven or so that have meat. My friend had a steak and she loved it. I enjoyed my meal as well.
