Great food options, lively environment, and and good customer service. This would be a good place for a date night.

My first visit to Lita's was an amazing experience I will never forget. Our reservation was for a party of 5. We visited around 6:30pm, on a Thursday evening. We were celebrating two birthdays. Street parking was very convenient. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the one and only Chef Sean Streete. After a brief conversation, we were led to our seats my the hostess. There was a moderate amount of patrons dining inside and outside. The music playing provided a really nice vibe. The kitchen had an open view so we were able to see the cooking crew busy at work. Once seated, the waitress approached and gave a little history on Chef Sean. She then took our drink orders. A few minutes passed then our drinks arrived. We then placed our food order. We ordered the black pepper shrimp and shrimp ceviche, the Cassava Risotto w/steak, braised oxtails w/rice & peas and sweet plantains. We also enjoyed Lita's house made chips & dip, Caribbean street corn, coconut braised pork belly tacos, pineapple upside down cake, key lime curd, chocolate passion cake and Lita donut holes. Order any of the above and you will be pleased. Our servers were wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable about the meals. Chef Sean came out toasted and conversed with us. He even wished the birthday ladies a very Happy Birthday. We enjoyed great service, great food/drinks and the ambiance was awesome. We are forever thankful to Chef Sean and his crew. We will definitely return. I highly recommend Lita's for a wonderful dining experience. Lita's get two thumbs up.

I highly recommend making a reservation. The wait was long but worth it. Lita is a fantastic restaurant for friends and family. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. Order the empeñadas, the oxtail., the salmon or even the steak. No matter what you are craving your taste buds will be satisfied.

Music is too loud for conversation. The food came out too fast, even after asking the server we wanted to pace the meal. (Seriously, we were in the middle of sharing our first appetizer together when the salad for one of the meals was served.) They started taking our plates before we were finished. The rice was mealy and bland; but the black pepper shrimp was way too salty. The skirt steak was fatty and chewy. But the mangorita was delicious!

I do love LITA! You get an elite experience in little ol Walnut Creek. The drinks are superb and the food is delicious. It’s a Caribbean restaurant and you do feel like you are on vacation! Reminds me of restaurants in Cartegena! They also play reggaeton/afro beats… so vibe-y I love it!Also, there is ALWAYS a wait on the weekend nights so make a reservation or expect to wait at least an hour. You can do big groups here but much easier to get seated in small group- 2 people at best.

Celebrated my birthday here with my sisters. As you can see, we tried a lot of their shareable plates and they were all good as well as their cocktails. Staff were friendly and love the ambiance. We’ll definitely come back and try other things on their menu.

Went here for lunch today. Our server was horrible and being in the industry ourselves, we expected more. He took 15 min to greet our table and rarely checked back on us. He never brought our bill and I had to personally walk up to the manager to pay out. The food was mediocre, I had the Jerk Chicken bowl, and I thought it would be real jerk chicken (maybe some dark meat would be nice), but it was just chopped up chicken breast tossed in jerk sauce. I sent my jerk taco back, and got the fish one instead, but was still disappointed with the taste. I was told by another server that the fish taco would have pineapples on it, but maybe there was a language barrier (being that he was of Hispanic origin) because the pineapples were actually mixed in the guacamole. My husband liked his burrito and the dessert was good, but other than that not a very good experience for such a hyped up establishment. Needless to say we won’t be back.

I've been here twice. Once for lunch and most recently for dinner. Unfortunately, both times, I was not impressed. What's seen on IG is a highlight reel, and I now question the influencer's taste buds. The menu doesn't have a lot of choices on there. The empanadas were the best thing I ate along with the coconut milk donut holes. The pineapple guacamole was original, but the Taki flavor chips were too salty for me. I ordered the steak with chimichurri sauce, rice and peas, and plantains. The steak was okay, and the rice and peas were uneventful. I also ordered the mangonada margarita with the popsicle -- It was cute, but eeehhh.Try it for yourself, but I don't need to go back.
