I ordered food from this restaurant through DoorDash on October 26th around 7:38 pm. When I went to pick it up around 7:55, I showed the order details to the employee, who then asked me to confirm it again. I showed her the screen a second time, but instead of just looking, she actually leaned in, touched my phone, started flipping through screens, and then finally gave me my food. This was honestly frustrating and felt really invasive – all the information was already right there.
I didn’t want to escalate it with management at the time, but I’m sharing this review with the hope that staff will be trained to respect customers’ personal space and belongings.

The music on the patio was ridiculously loud we had to yell to talk which made it even noisier. We asked two different servers and the host to please lower it, our request was ignored.

I only have great things to say about my experience. I go there every other week. Gnocchi is delicious soft and you choose the sauces. The square pepperoni pizza with melted burrata and drizzle of honey is so good. My favorite is the good old fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Their focaccia bread is made right there. This is the best restaurant to go with family, have a great meal at right price.

If you read some of the reviews there’s a distinct theme that weaves its way thru.. the food is fine(for American Italian) when they get it right, but good luck talking to anyone there that cares whatsoever. I’ve worked plenty of service jobs, customers in this area are generally awful and I get that, but if you assume every customer isn’t worth helping at the outset, then what’s the point of coming here? What did I just spend my money on? Annoying that our society can’t be nicer to each other.
TL:DR They’re going to treat you poorly, so I hope you really like pasta and bread.

We dined at Melo’s Italian Table and had a mixed experience. We ordered a latte, the Prosciutto Arugula, and the Meat Ravioli Emiliana.
The Prosciutto Arugula, featuring Double 8 Dairy Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil, parmigiano, parma prosciutto, and baby arugula, was quite good. The flavors were well-balanced and the ingredients fresh. The Meat Ravioli Emiliana, with its tomato cream sauce, sage, and meat and spinach ravioli, was also enjoyable, though not particularly outstanding.
However, the service left much to be desired. It took an unusually long time for our waiter to take our order and later to bring us the check. This significantly detracted from our overall dining experience. While the food was decent, the slow service was a major downside.
We’ve been passing by Melo’s for 2 years now and haven’t had the chance to try it. It’s always packed and now we know why. We had excellent service by Derrick, he and his lady colleague provided water bowl for our boy pup! Ordered Spicy Vodka Rigatoni with a side of chicken—flavor was excellent and chicken was tender, cooked to perfection. We also had the Prosciutto Arugula with a side of honey (don’t sleep on this) and it was refreshingly tasty! Tiramisu was okay wish it had more coffee flavor but overall *chef’s kiss* Will definitely be back for more and will bring family!

Whoever says the pasta is fantastic at this place has never had a taste of good proper pasta in their lives. There was nothing special about it at all. One of the dishes- the papparedelle bolognese pasta- was very underwhelming and some of the pasta noodles were literally stuck together. I physically had to pull it apart from eachother. I’ve never been to/seen an Italian restaurant that allowed that to leave their kitchen and to be served to customers.
Also, management needs to train the young hostess better if they’re going to be working there. When the hostess brought my family and I to our table, she slid the menus onto the table. Everytime she did, the menu would hit the plate causing the plate to be bumped into the glass cup and the glass cup bumping into the wall against the table. It created loud glass clinking noises that was unpleasant. This ruins the placement of the silverware/napkin, plate, and cup in which I had to shift it back together properly. Not very professional and not a very good first impression of the service.

Really enjoyed the food here. Got the Gnocchi, which was very good, cooked perfectly and my son got the fettuccini alfredo, which again was cooked very well. It was more expensive than it should be for what it is, but aside from that, it was really good.

Overall solid! Good food, the pistachio pesto gnocchi was a definite standout. The hostesses were a little scatterbrained and not wildly professional, but our servers were great! Vodka sauce was solid but not the best I've ever had. I'd come back!
Great service by Sofia. Were not rushed to order food. Menu is different than Melos in Pleasant hill. Ordered meatballs as appetizer and prosciutto and arugula pizza and we're not disappointed. Will have to go again to try other items on the menu.
Every dish we ordered (clams/mussels, beet salad, burrata/pepperoni square pizza, penne vodka) tasted amazing and our server Derrick was such a sweetheart. Go now and request Derrick!
