It's a nice quiet place to sit outside at lunchtime. There are many places nearby to get lunch to go. You can get a beer at Mike Hess and sit outside to eat with a choice of sun or shade. Parking can sometimes be a bit dicey during lunch hours.

Two words: Vietnamese coffee. Such a nice day to enjoy good company. Great indoor and outdoor area and the service is phenomenal. Had a flight with some hazy IPAs and they were all excellent. My dog of course had a better time than I did if that's even possible.

4 or 5 time here . Always come to show support for my wife's friends husbands band . Good music , a couple good non ipa beer offerings . Patio is great when it's not over crowded . Way to many kids running around . No food served and alcohol around ? No kids should be aloud . Dogs are aloud and that's great . You can bring any food you want from outside as they don't offer anything other then pretzel type snacks . Service is a brewery , you go to the counter an order , no table service . Just another brewery that has nothing special like just about every other brewery .

Great beers and vibes at Mike Hess Brewery. I usually come by on a Friday afternoon when the bands are playing. You can bring in food from the neighboring food restaurants and enjoy your beer .
Wanted to wait until another visit here on a busier night would be before writing a review. I'm a Huge fan of this spot! Their outdoor patio is super cozy and plenty of room and shade for our fur kids. I'm pretty impressed with their tap rotation (both times I've gone I got a flight to try different beers). I think it's so cool they gift you with a souvenir cup when you turn your poker chip back inMy favorites so far are the Mexican lager and the pineapple cider. So yummy and refreshing! Love that this tasting room is next to a handful of restaurants too so you can grab food to go and bring it here while enjoying your beer. I plan on coming here regularly! I've been meaning to have my next visit be during the week where i can bring my souvenir back for a discounted pour.

This is a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. They have a great selection of beer that will fit everyone's taste. You can bring your own food and are dog friendly. I have been here several times and love just hanging out.The employees are all very nice and helpful if need help picking a beer. I recommend this spot and can't wait to come back.

Very nice brewery located in Walnut Creek. Great selection of beers. Ordered a tasting flight with choice of five beers. There is seating outside and also inside. Great place to visit with friends and family. Service was pretty good. They also gave a free glass with tasting flight. Highly recommend this place.

I always drive by Mike Hess Brewing company and my husband and I finally decided to go in. It was a Friday afternoon so it was busy but the patio and indoor area is spacious so we were able to find good seats outside. You walk up to the counter to order your drinks. I ordered the sangria seltzer and of course my husband had a beer (can't remember which one but he really enjoyed it). I was pleasantly surprised by the sangria seltzer. I really enjoyed it. They do not serve food but a few of the nearby restaurants will deliver food if you call your order in and pay with a credit card over the phone. I decided to order food online at the Mexican restaurant next door and quickly picked it up and brought it back. It was a perfect pair with our drinks.I really love that they are dog friendly and there quite a few babies and toddlers as well. It is a fun atmosphere on a warm day. I am looking forward to coming back in the near future. I plan on picking up food beforehand next time.
