I always enjoy the food and service. I am disappointed that they no longer have outdoor seating that was available during the Covid restrictions. But that may be to the city.

Amazing healthy food and great service in a comfortable and clean setting. Great vegetarian options too. 5 stars!

Give a try this place from my friend recommendations and very impressive. Went there for a big group and tried many items on the menu. Japchae is a must!! And their purple rice is perfect cook. I got Galbijjim (Crazy Cow), it was delicious with reasonable price. Soft tofu soup is amazing and they have a good selection of kids menu too.No reservations, ONLY first come first serve!

We started with some appetizers with the vegetable gyoza and shrimp tempura. The gyoza was crispy and flavorful and the tempura was light, crunchy and fried to perfection with the shrimp cooked to perfection. The ramen was okay, the broth had nice flavor however noodles were average and overall could have been better. The bibimbap was served with assorted veggies, purple mixed grain rice, egg and sliced beef along with Bonchon. Overall was a really nice meal and setting for dinner!

Food here always satisfies. I'm not an expert on Korean cuisine so I go for tried and tested dishes like spicy Kimchi fried rice. Very delicious, they adjust spice and heat to your liking. Ask for the super hot Korean sauce on the side. It's really hot and I love it.The hot bibimbap dolsot is also very satisfying..

They refused to take my order because they said that they didn’t have system! It was one of my favorite restaurants at Walnut Creek dowtown. Now, I really don’t want to come back there anymore. The chef and the waitress were extremely rude to me. They didn’t even tried to use a pen and a paper to take my order!

Truly one of my favorite restaurants in Walnut Creek. I always want to choose everything on the menu, some of my favorites are the ramens and stews, perfect for a colder day. I also love all the veggies and small bites that come with most meals. I also recently tried their hot sake and it went perfectly with our meal. I am never disappointed with the food or service at mixed grain and I will keep returning frequently.

I just got my hair cut close by at 1:30pm and was looking for something that's individual-friendly, yummy, and quick. This place was perfect ! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was pretty decent and environment was really comfortable. It's a great place for one person or even small party gathering.

So many delicious vegetarian options! I adore the fresh appetizers they give you. My favorites are the tofu bibimbap and the sizzling works. Highly recommend!

I am a fan of Korean food and have eaten it from multiple countries and cities. But, this was the worst korean food I’ve ever eaten. I have never tasted food this bland and disgusting. Everything felt like it was reheated multiple times. Any Korean would be disgraced by the food they serve under their country.

Love this place! Everything I’ve tried on the menu is so good and the staff is very friendly. There are also parking garages near by which makes parking not a headache. Overall 10/10 experience.

My wife and I come here at least once a week and enjoy their sizzling pot of goodness. I also enjoy their honey ginger tea. Our favorite server is Ellie, she always greets us with her beautiful smile. The other servers simply serve the food. The only downside to this restaurant is the volume of the music they play however each time we visit this restaurant, our server has turned it down to a level that we can tolerate with our old ears. Otherwise; highly recommended!

I rate the spicy ramen a 9/10 , just because things can always improve. I give 5 stars because 4/5 is only 80%, and rating it that wouldn’t feel right. The restaurant was very nice and had and funky smell, but that doesn’t matter. Service and food was absolutely amazing, i loved the presentation of boiling food in a stone bowl ( be careful don’t burn yourself! ). The only problem i had with this restaurant was not coming more hungry. They also give you sweet lolipops to soothe your mouth after eating all the spicy food, it is perfect.

Enjoyed lunch here several weeks ago. Tried the dolsot with purple rice and beef. It came with soup and several banchan (side dishes); I mixed in the cilantro one because I thought it complemented the dish so well. Will definitely return.
