We were so excited when we learned Model Bakery was coming to WC, making it much easier to get their delicious English muffins. We’ve come for those, of course, and also enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches, croissants, scones, cookies and baked breads. All are delicious. My go to is the apricot pecan scone and the chocolate rad cookie. So rich and decadent. My husband loves the epi baguette, which we usually only get when in Napa. Staff are friendly and the lines have gotten shorter. We look forward to being customers for many years.

Really love the fact that they have a single option for the eggs benedict. Can never go wrong with their english muffins. I heard this Southern Sausage Eggs Benedict is a special to the Walnut Creek branch.

The rad cookies are 10/10. But what’s making me write this is a recent visit to the Walnut Creek location. We were in for a pickup order and Ryan helped us. Our order took a little longer than expected and he went above and beyond. We were happy to wait, but he really made sure we were taken care of and the kindness stood out.
I ordered cappuccino and latte , they give 2 latte and it was terrible.bakery wasn’t fresh too

The food was delicious. Ive been here for breakfast and lunch and both meals were very good. There is limited seating, but we’ve always found a table. But, I have to say, the high pitched buzzers to alert you when your food is ready are SO ANNOYING! There must be a better one out there, one that flashes instead of vibrating or ringing? It was especially frustrating because we we were seated near the pick up area so everyone had their buzzer/ringer near us! It was very irritating and I hoe they can change this.

Oprah wasn’t kidding. Coffee is fuego and the croissant got absolutely smashed. Big tables are available for meetings. I had one and it could lead to something big so I’ll make sure and return the favor if it does.

I’m giving Model Bakery five stars based only on the coffee, cookies and atmosphere. I’ve been here twice so far and haven’t ordered any food items but will certainly do that the next time there. The bakery is well designed and it’s a comfortable place to visit. Plenty of seats and parking is available right across the street. The bakery is also right in the middle of downtown so this is a perfect place for a coffee break while out shopping. This place is not worth it. The muffins they are so proud of were soggy and so greasy- I ordered the breakfast sandwich. The constant beeping from the things they give out to let you know when your order is ready is absolutely awful. It’s constant beeping. Switch to buzzers if you want a better atmosphere. The WiFi didn’t work. The counter where you pick your stuff up is too low, you have to bend down just to see someone. Ridiculous.
