Love their sandwiches but they no longer are taking orders over the phone. That’s a real bummer an ordering on line is not the answer.
Morucci's use to have quality sandwiches, very disappointed with last purchase, stale bread, made poorly with very little inside, the ratio of bread doesn't equal. regret not going elsewhere.
won't go back
Ham sandwich, disappointed on the amount of ham, bacon is very salty…also the pastrami is all shredded
Old WC staple. Great sandwiches. They recently updated their cash registers so they can take online orders now. Lunchtime they have a line out the wazoo. Usually they close at 3:15 so don’t plan on coming after 4:00.
Maybe the best sandwich I've ever had. So good! The bread was perfect. Went there on a busy day and still got my order in a timely manner. Definitely going back!
Hours are literally closing until 5pm no where near 5pm it’s 3:13pm and the door was locked 3 employees inside cleaning. They waved as if they were closed. Lol and when you call no one answer…not sure why there is even hours posted let alone a phone. Might as well close the business and start a side hustle or food stand probably save you more money. Don’t recommend at all though.
My office is in downtown Walnut Creek and I decided to take a break from the overpriced, underwhelming, $20 lunches that come with a side of poor service and go for a little five minute drive, where I found Morucci’s. They offer a large menu of sandwiches and salads, and because it was difficult to narrow it down. I decided to start at the top and go with the #1 one Italian sub. It was really incredible! Rather than add on the suggested mustard or pesto, I asked for an unconventional ingredient to be added to an Italian sandwich (Mayo) and I was grateful that they didn’t (outwardly) judge me for my choice, because combined with the Italian dressing it was the perfect creamy, tangy combo. There’s a lovely outdoor shaded eating area where I was able to enjoy my sandwich. I will absolutely be back very soon. I’m hoping to work my way down the menu, but that Italian sub is going to be tough to beat. More Morucci’s, please!

Been coming here since I was a little kid. Staple sandwich shop for everyone in the area. Some of my favorites are the #5, #2, #6 1/2, #13. Salad's are also great. Get the 1/2 salad 1/2 sando, best bang for your buck.

Amazing local sandwich shop! It gets very busy around lunch, so don't expect a quick visit. I recommend the Italian sandwich- the pesto is delicious. Or the prosciutto and mozzarella!

So good! Got the Italian sub but made it hot and the BLT. Both so, so good and you can eat outside in the shade. Will be back.
