Mountain Mike's Pizza

I stopped by the Mountain Mike’s in Walnut Creek for the lunch buffet and really enjoyed it. I got a soda, made a salad with ranch, and tried three different slices of their combo pizzas. Everything tasted fresh, and the quality was good for a buffet. The white sauce combo pizza stood out—it was delicious. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and I’d definitely come back again.

Had the worst experience here. Our order was completely wrong, and when I brought it to the staff’s attention, the lady assured me she would personally remake the pizza correctly. Unfortunately, the second attempt was just as bad—soggy, with the wax paper underneath sticking to the pizza.

On top of that, the staff's attitude was extremely unpleasant and rude, making the situation even more frustrating. While we were dining in, they started wiping down tables with an overpowering cleaning solution, making it hard to enjoy our meal.

Overall, a terrible experience, and I will not be returning. Definitely not what I expected.

We used to visit almost 2 to 3 times a week as a old growing couple, the cashier used to work there called honey deals with us everytime , but we visited last 2 times and didn’t see her plus food was not good too,They hired new people who even get frozen and confused while helping and taking orders they should atleast hire someone who knows how to give good customer service wish to see her everytime we visit

The food was expensive we ordered largest pizza it was 50$ believable. It wasn’t cooked all the Way they really skimp on the toppings i had ordered jalapeño poppers also they came an order of 8 we got 7 and they wer still frozen the coating was falling apart they tasted freezer burned i asked them to give us our full order and recook them as they wer still cold they did recook them but still tasted really bad i took them and the pizza home to recook them both
Don’t spend your hard earned money here you will only be disappointed

My 70 yr old mother in law called in to order food for the family. When she asked to use a coupon for the order they told her to go order somewhere else. If this is how they treat their customers then maybe they shouldn't have any.

This location is the worst place in Walnut Creek, people work there very unprofessional, rude and they only want the money from the customer, I placed an order for pizza at 3:00 and I asked them to get it delivered at 5:00 for my family gathering with kids and grandkids. I called 45 minutes after the pizza was late and they said driver is on the way,, kids were hungry and everyone else was, called again and they put me on hold to find my pizza, I was on hold for 10 minutes and no answer, we called again to ask about our pizza and they hung up on me twice, they stopped answering the phone, finally we got a hold of them and they promised that our pizza will be there in 5 minutes? Is this a joke?? 30 minutes later we called again and asked for refund, it’s now 7:00 and my family left with kids hungry and no pizza, this is the worst experience ever ! I will never buy from mountain mikes pizza, bad management and very poor customer service.

Don't know what kind of game this place is playing...I ordered a pizza for pick up, when I arrived they said it was still in the oven, I'd need to wait five minutes. When "it came out", I paid and walked out to the car. The box was not hot, I thought well since it was just put in, it would heat up in a minute. Gave it to my husband to hold on the way home. When we got home he told me it never got hot! Why would MM lie about it coming out of the oven? Then when I called and spoke with the Manager, he talked in circles and said it couldn't happen!! Well hellloo, it DID!! The new owners have also really, really cut back on the amount of toppings. We have been a great customer for about 20 years, but I'm done with this place...there are many better places in WC to order pizza from!

I ordered a large pizza to be delivered. Large ? It was a 12” pizza. Don’t order it if you’re hungry. No wonder businesses in this area are going out of business.

There are so many good eating options in this plaza but nothing beats the all you can eat Pizza and a beer for lunch price at Mountain Mike’s. The service is great, plenty of room to seat and plenty of parking too. I got a half pitcher for excellent price.

First the pizza took over an hour (about 1H 15M) to arrive.When it did arrive...I don't even know how to describe it...not food anyway, this was not edible! We got four plastic discs of something that looked like pizza. If someone told me it was a 'display pizza' I would believe them as it felt like hard plastic.It was so hard that if you tap it against something it makes a knocking noise.
