We were fortunate enough to get a reservation for my Husband's birthday and I'm so happy we did. Having been long time San Franciscan that has been to Original Joe's in SF and Daly City, I knew we were in for a treat. What a fantastic experience it was. The decor is so beautiful and our server Kristen cold not have been more helpful and accommodating. We started with the fried Zucchini and the Lettuce wedge salad (My favorite). That would have been enough right there-the portions are very ample. We both ordered the Steak Ala Bruno with a side of their homemade ravioli and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Finished with the butter cake and I have to say it was so delicious. Thanks to Original Joes and the lovely Kristen my husband thoroughly enjoyed his birthday.

Wow! This was amazing. Would absolutely recommend sitting at the chefs counter if you’re able. It was dinner and a show! Service was great, meal was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate!

Everything was delicious. Not just good, but delicious. Very nice all-around experience. Outside area has overhead radiant heaters that work very well. Old-fashioned was good (with a customized ice cube, no less).

I like all of these and this one in WC is nice. We had a good time. Food was good and staff was attentive. Went late on a Sunday morning and enjoyed ourselves. You should go

Very bad service. We had 3 different waiters coming to our table and all of them were bad in some way. One of them was pretty rude actually. The place is pretty loud and tables for 2 way too close.

The large leather booths and decor lead one to believe that OJ's is old school, like a Taddichs or Sam's Grills in SF. It might aspire to replicate that classy dining with professional waiters, delicious food and high end ambiance if it WEREN'T for the extremely loud music, bass beat and overall NOISE in the dining room. We came to visit with a friend we hadn't seen in a long time and frankly, we had to elevate our voices just to be heard. Why do restaurants do this?
The service with Josh was excellent. The food was good but not over the top. I had the chicken piccata which was over sauced with burre blanc. They should include a vegetable with the mains as the sides that come with the entrees are mashed potatoes, French fries, spaghetti.
All in all, we would not come back to Original Joe's.

We went in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. It was me and my partner. We were greeted at the front podium with four people, huddled up all talking amongst themselves. There was someone that seemed like a manager who had his back to the podium blocking it and when he saw us, he didn’t greet us. He just walked away. We requested to send out sign because it was pretty warm that day. we seated just passed the door that leads to the patio on the left. There were a row of tiny tables. We were sat at the very first table directly behind where I was sitting was a station and it didn’t fit well, so it took up some of the space for my seat to get pulled out and from that point forward, I heard every time somebody put dishes in the station or was chatting with coworkers. It wasn’t even 1 foot away from me behind me. We both ordered the steak. I ordered a side salad, which was a disappointing salad because all it was was huge chunks of lettuce. Nothing else just lettuce. How’s that a salad? It wasn’t even chopped. It was oversized chunks of lettuce. I chose the ranch dressing which was also pretty watered down and bland. However, the artichoke spinach dip was amazing. The steaks were also absolutely delicious as we were sitting outside. We were visited by many flies and a few bees it became a little bit cumbersome, my partner and I were having a serious private conversation when all of a sudden another staff member walked up to us and started commenting on my tattoos her voice was pretty loud, and it threw both of us off because we didn’t know what she was talking about. At first we both kind of stared at her for a minute and she walked away. Our bill was over $200 and for drinks we just got iced tea. I felt it was a little pricey for lunch and for the outdoor atmosphere also the planters to our left were leaking lots of water so the floor was soaking wet when I go there again? Not for lunch at that price that’s more of a dinner place.
