We ordered lunch through DoorDash for a company lunch meeting. I ordered a Lunch Bento Box with two items which I choose Chicken Teriyaki and Sashimi.On the menu, it shows 6 Pcs but I only received 3 Pcs!The ordered arrived late. I was not happy with the food, the chicken & rice were cold and both color/taste of sashimi just doesn't looks fresh. Also they didn't provide soy sauce!I called back to the restaurant, the person told me it always 3 Pcs for the Lunch Bento Box and tried to blame this to DoorDash, but who gave the menu to DoorDash?!

Very Fresh sushi. The shrimp temporary is not over battered. The garlic spicy etamari is very good. This is a go to place if you're in Walnut Creek

Golden Bear Roll and The Lion King are delicious here! I've a positive experience every time we've returned here.. from the attentive, kind service to the yummy rolls and drinks! I highly recommend the Lychee Martini :)

They have a pretty extensive menu, and lots of special rolls. It was a little on the pricier side, but everything was super fresh and Unagi was served warm which I love! I also had my favorite, a negihama roll, some salmon nigiri, and a spicy tuna roll which was supposed to be a hand roll but they messed up. I felt bad sending it back so I just ate it. One of the better spicy tuna rolls that I have had. I'd love to go back with more people so that I could try out some of the special rolls because they really looked delicious. All in all, solid meal and all of the food was plated very beautifully in very cool dishes! The woman next to me ordered a ton of sashimi and it came on a boat. I really wanted to snag a pic but I didn't ask. Next time, I'm getting that!

Hands down one of the best in the east bay. For rolls, I recommend the golden bear, you get to taste an an assortment of fish and they are topped with a rainbow of eggs. Yum!

After hiking the Lafayette Reservoir with a friend, we agreed sushi would sound good. We were famished. We walked into the sushi place about 15 minutes before they opened all the door was unlocked and they welcomed us to sit down if we didn't mind waiting until their opening time. They gave us water while we waited which was great since it was a hot day and we were thirsty. We ordered bento boxes and A's role to share. All was delicious and the server was attentive. We were the only ones in the restaurant.

Where to begin. I came last night on a date. We order our 4 rolls and "one" came out. We started eating it and with 3 pieces left the server came and took it away. Stating that this wasn't ours. Ok no problem. I mean but with 80 percent of it eaten why not just give us the rest? Whatever.. Next I ordered Hot Sake. Waited. Close to 15 mins. Than had to ask the server again if we can get the hot sake. It eventually came. Cool. Our 4 rolls come out, they were very good and than I wanted to order 2 more rolls to take try and than close to 30 mins later I went and cancelled the last 2 due to time taking way long. Not sure if they forgot or if they were just too busy to get to ours but in my opinion, making 2 rolls shouldn't take longer than 20 mins even if your chefs are busy. Their was only 4/5 other tables eating in the establishment so Im very understanding of the place was packed but it wasn't. The servers were polite but I wouldn't come in again to spend my hard earned money here. Our bill was 100 dollars I still left a 15 dollar tip. If the experience was on par I would have left 25 maybe 30. I have over 18 years of hospitality experience, 10 years of bartending, 4 years of managing. So I do understand the ins and outs of the restaurant business.

I've been coming here for a few years and they're always great! Yesterday I placed an order online and I made a mistake. The team was so friendly to fix my mistake. They also are helpful with dietary requirements. Recommend!
The food and customer service was amazing. Our sushi got to our table very quickly, and overall it was a great experience.

The food is AMAZING, probably the best sushi rolls in Walnut Creek. However, I have to give this a 1 star to get the owner's attention. The place needs professional cleaning ASAP..the floor is so sticky and dirty, hasn't been cleaned in over a year. We always order for pick up (minimum once every two weeks) and was hoping the place will be cleaned before I have to write this review. Fish is fresh, rolls are so yummy..working station/table looks clean but the floor, seats, bathroom, etc needs deep cleaning ASAP. I really hope this review will help. Thank you

The Sushi is so good. But the service was bad! I am sitting here with my two good friends who usually tip 25% and they literally want to tip zero! That's how bad the service is. Like other reviews they prioritize takeout orders and neglect in-restaurant guests. The sushi was great! Or maybe it was that we were so hungry for having to wait 30 minutes before each dish came out!! It's normal for sushi restaurants to bring three types of sushi plates at a time and then maybe come back with the last one or two you ordered because it's labor intensive to prepare. But if I order four different rolls with six pieces each roll for four people, don't bring one dish out and then wait 30 minutes to bring the next one. And reappear if four times!! The worst part is that there were only a few people in the restaurant and we told two different staff members that we had plans and had to leave and the next two dishes still took an hour to get to us. WTH!!
