Have eaten at Peony Garden several times. Food is consistently good, atmosphere is nice, service is adequate and matter of fact. More authentic Cantonese dishes. They have a rewards program that needs some work but can be straightened out with some persistence. Would recommend for casual dining.Parking: If you get there early for lunch around 11:30am, you're more likely to get a parking space in the lot. Usually not that difficult-

Met for a family birthday lunch today. All the food was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent and friendly. Our favorites were ginger crab, purple yam dim sum, hard gaw, and the steamed fish! Will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for the beautiful lunch!

The service is superb....Cindy, Danny and their staffs' purpose is to serve the customer quickly, with hot and tasty Asian Fusion food that is one of the best in the whole Bay Area! As a family, we have followed this restaurant after first being established in Pleasant Hill to their present location in Walnut Creek. Our Favorite dishes are as follows: Sweet and sour prawns, Chow Fun, Hot and Sour soup, Won Ton soup....the Deluxe Fried Rice, the Dim Sum, various Pork Dishes and Eggplant with sautéed basil.....IT IS ALL GOOD! The ambiance is also unique....you can eat outside, covered tables on a deck near a small stream in the warm months or Inside where you are surrounded by a nice bar and large circular tables, that seat 12 people with easy to reach lazy Susan's. Also inside you have a cozy smaller room with intimate sitting for more private dining. All in all, Peony Garden's is a restaurant to remember when you are looking for fine food, extremely attentive service, fine dining ambiance and maybe most important.....the most Bang for your Buck...ANYWHERE! 5 star rating
