I’ve been a Philz fan forever, but the new Philz has lost the magic. No more ordering from a friendly barista who pours your drink in front of you and asks you to sip it to make sure it’s perfect. Now it’s as anonymous and automated as Starbucks, big printed labels on drinks, long line of people waiting forever to get their drinks… Philz has lost its soul.

Ordered ahead. Drink got missed somehow. Tried to talk to barista, she said “oh it’s coming right out”. Saw a bunch of other online orders come out with a later “pick up by” timestamp - tried to follow up with her and was rudely brushed aside.

The coffee is always amazing, sometimes it's made too sweet in my opinion even with the different sweetness levels, but it probably depends on the staff member. The food options have been disappointing in the past few years overall, but some of the simple baked goods have been excellent.

Great coffee and pastries but the music which is terrible btw is way too loud and the place is too cold to sit and enjoy whether with friends or working in the back. The employees are laughing and having a good time while their customers are freezing and stoned faced. Maybe it's more for the staff than customers. Cmon Phil.
The coffee here is unmatched. I wish I lived closer, this would definitely my go to. The staff is always friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your drink is made to your liking.

If you don't use the app it's going to take you a very long time to receive your order. I ordered with an awesome cashier who helped me decide what to order as it was my first time at this location. I sat down to wait as there was only one other person in the store. Then I waited, and waited, and after 12 drinks were on the counter and my name wasn't called I stood up once the one other person in the store had their drink. I waited a few more minutes. Then the barista asked me my name and if I ordered at the register and I said yes, and they looked for my order and then finally found the order, and said they would start making it soon. This was 10 minutes now. I needed to leave at that point so I waited in line at the register, got my refund, and left before the barista on the other end had called my name. I won't be patronizing this location again.
