I had a great experience at Philz Coffee during my recent visit. I ordered the Ambrosia Coffee, and it was fantastic, smooth, rich, and exactly the kind of unique flavor profile Philz is known for. My guest and I were able to really enjoy our time together because the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Even when the shop got busier, it never reached the point where you couldn’t hold a conversation comfortably.
The staff were genuinely amazing. I asked for a few recommendations before ordering, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful, walking me through different blends and flavor notes. I ended up staying almost until closing, and not once did the team make me feel rushed or out of place. Their hospitality really stood out.
Parking can be a bit tricky, it is Walnut Creek after all. but aside from that small inconvenience, everything else was excellent. Definitely a place I’d come back to for good coffee, good company, and a consistently pleasant atmosphere.

This Philz is the spotttt! Super nice and welcoming staff and the drinks are genuinely so good every time. Very clean inside and tons of outlets. The music do be BLASTING though so bring the noise cancelling headphones aha

Definitely a much better cafe than by other brands that are more expensive because of their name... i just love it and im happy I got to know this brand! ❤️🔥

Philz deserves all the success they have and I’m sure that employees are trained to be the way I described. Most employees don’t have the initiative to actually treat people Iike a fellow human being, so I like to support the businesses that emphasize that while training their employees.

Their app makes it super easy to order ahead and skip the line, which is a lifesaver when I’m in a hurry.
If you love great coffee and great service, Philz is a must. Highly recommend!

I always recommend folks to order through the Philz app to beat the morning rush. I'm a big fan of the classic honey haze. You can adjust the level of sweetner and choose your milk alternative. They don't have soy milk which is a bummer. They may run out bagels in the afternoon. Try their beyond meat breakfast sandwich becasue it's good.
