Delicious, RICH, creamy, tantanmen (pork) broth. Might go so far as to describe it as decadent.

Does NOT seat many people, so we sat at the bar. Which is not large. Be prepared to wait during regular meal hour.

Parking: Paid parking garage is free for the first hour.

My wife ramen (tantanmen) was excellent. Mine was decent, the noodles were a little tough and the broth was too strong, but was was still good.

Amazing Ramen & small family business feel. We were in town from Texas visiting family and stumbled upon this gem. The owner Hiroshi is so kind and personable. A must eat when you are in the area. We will be back for sure!

The service was very quick, and the ramen was decent. It's not the best I've tried, but it's worth stopping by if you're in the area. Parking could be difficult. I'd come back to try their different dishes!

It was late when we arrived for dinner. We have a toddler so we always need to request a highchair. When we asked, the server told us the highchair is in the bathroom and he can't get it because someone is using the bathroom.First of all, it's really gross to put your highchair in the restaurant restroom. AND we had to wait almost ten minutes to get the highchair to seat my son.The young male server is nice but obviously inexperienced. When the food arrived, he just randomly put the ramen down without telling us which is which. We had to ask so that we could know which one we ordered.Food flavor is good. The fried chicken is good. Ramen is good too. Very flavorful.Overall, I will not go back with my son.

Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly when the highchair is stored in the restaurant restroom.

Great menu with tons of different choices. First time here after searching for top ramen by votes near concord…..completely understandable why after our delicious meal. The space is small and there is a constant queue of people wanting service. That wait will be longer if your party is 4+…. But worth it IMHO. Cheers and ty for having us.If someone from the wait staff ever sees this review; pls accept some feedback. If you see a couple with multiple kids struggling to keep them quiet while waiting for their food to show up….. and if they’ve ordered a few appetizers pls deliver them before the entrees. We would’ve loved to have had the karrage chicken / edamame as a distraction instead of having all the food show up at once.

On a chilly night, we sought refuge in search of delicious ramen, and we stumbled upon the best place in town. Tucked away in a small and quaint corner, this hidden gem surprised us with its incredible ramen. Each slurp was a symphony of flavors, warming us from the inside out. Despite its unassuming appearance, this little spot quickly became our favorite ramen joint in town.

Visited November 12, 2023A Japanese ramen restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. I live in Walnut Creek, but Vietnamese pho and Japanese ramen restaurants are rare, so I wanted to try warm soup, so I found this Japanese ramen restaurant online. There is a cooking kitchen and a few tables inside the store, but the space is somewhat narrow. There were about 4 to 5 ramen menu items. I wanted to eat spicy tonkotsu ramen, but it was a bit disappointing that the spiciest item on the menu was limited to tantanmen. I soothed my disappointment by adding spicy sauce to the regular tonkotsu ramen at the table. The food is cooked and served immediately after ordering, but there are a lot of pick-up orders during lunch time, so it may take some time. The ramen broth and toppings are a bit oily. The pork loin was quite thick and had a lot of fat, so I personally found it very unpleasant. However, there was Asahi beer as a draft beer, and it was refreshing and delicious. The karaage was warm and delicious. I don’t really recommend ramen.

Ramen Hiroshi is a cozy little restaurant near the main street in downtown Walnut Creek. I really like how friendly and charming it is. They have around six tables for customers. We decided to try two dishes. The first one was called Hiroshi Tonkotsu Ramen, and the second was Yuru Ramen. You can look at the menu picture for a description of them. The Tonkatsu ramen was just what I expected, and it was really good. The noodles were great, and the broth was tasty and hearty. The Yuru ramen was something different. I was in the mood to try something new. It had a bit of a spicy kick to it and a hint of citrus flavor. If you like that kind of taste, you'll enjoy it. I also liked that it came with some bok choy vegetables. Both bowls had a nice egg but they were cold.Overall, I really liked the food, and I would definitely go back to this place.
