Visited November 12, 2023A Japanese ramen restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. I live in Walnut Creek, but Vietnamese pho and Japanese ramen restaurants are rare, so I wanted to try warm soup, so I found this Japanese ramen restaurant online. There is a cooking kitchen and a few tables inside the store, but the space is somewhat narrow. There were about 4 to 5 ramen menu items. I wanted to eat spicy tonkotsu ramen, but it was a bit disappointing that the spiciest item on the menu was limited to tantanmen. I soothed my disappointment by adding spicy sauce to the regular tonkotsu ramen at the table. The food is cooked and served immediately after ordering, but there are a lot of pick-up orders during lunch time, so it may take some time. The ramen broth and toppings are a bit oily. The pork loin was quite thick and had a lot of fat, so I personally found it very unpleasant. However, there was Asahi beer as a draft beer, and it was refreshing and delicious. The karaage was warm and delicious. I don’t really recommend ramen.

Ramen Hiroshi is a cozy little restaurant near the main street in downtown Walnut Creek. I really like how friendly and charming it is. They have around six tables for customers. We decided to try two dishes. The first one was called Hiroshi Tonkotsu Ramen, and the second was Yuru Ramen. You can look at the menu picture for a description of them. The Tonkatsu ramen was just what I expected, and it was really good. The noodles were great, and the broth was tasty and hearty. The Yuru ramen was something different. I was in the mood to try something new. It had a bit of a spicy kick to it and a hint of citrus flavor. If you like that kind of taste, you'll enjoy it. I also liked that it came with some bok choy vegetables. Both bowls had a nice egg but they were cold.Overall, I really liked the food, and I would definitely go back to this place.

Nice ramen shop, which is reminiscent of ramen shops in Japan. Maybe that's because the proprietor is Japanese! Quiet outside atmosphere made the experience more pleasant. Service is excellent, and the ramen bowl is one of the best I've had. Oj, and try the mango cream and melon cream soda! If you're in Walnut Creek, definitely pay Ramen Hiroshi a visit!

Nothing we ordered had much of any flavor. I ordered the Spiciest thing on the menu and it was bland and not spicy. Even my niece who hates spicy things ate it. They only offer a chili paste and spice mix to add, not hot sauces, which would have helped. With so many selections for ramen in the bay area, I'd think they'd try harder with the recipes. The drink selection is all bottles you can find at the corner store for cheaper. Just not much effort shown to provide a better product.Parking: This town charges for parking all day every day.

Was not my favorite at all! The ramen and wings had decent taste! Ramen smelled old. No toilet paper, and filthy restroom. I asked for their recommendations and the waitress didn’t answer me! On top of all, they were super slow.

Since it was cold, we wanted something warm, and ramen fit the bill. We came after 5pm and there were only a couple people. The service is average. The ramen is also average. I tried both the Hiroshi Tonkotsu and Tantanmen. Something about the noodles was what I wasn't impressed about. Prices seem reasonable. Lots of people order for pick up.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu

Ordered the cha siu ramen and I have tried many ramen at Tokyo.Ramen way too salty, I had cramps later on my calves and also became more swollen. Too much salt and I think MSG- had the worst headache after eating and did not feel well.Cha siu seemed good, but salty too.I tried this place thinking it will be very good…..but was disappointed

Love this place, so many ramen options. I wish they offered spicy add ins and more veggie options, like spicy Mayo or chili paste. Great flavor and love how they package for takeout too!!

Food - good but not great Service - friendly but not great Price - $17 to $18 per ramen as expected Con - they consider a party of 6 a "large" party and automatically charge a 20% service fee Con - the wait is long if you are bigger than a party of 2 and they will let other parties in ahead of you even though you request "split up party". Very annoying after waiting 45 minutes in the rain just to see 3 parties that came after you seated!!!!
