Service: Friendly staff and quick service. It was great. Ambiance: It gave me a classic Italian American restaurant vibe with so many things to look at on the walls and ceiling. I loved it. Food: - Riccia Con Pollo: Chicken breast with pancetta, peppers, and zucchini in cream sauce and served on pasta strips. Delicious! To me this dish was the highlight of what we ordered. The pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was creamy (but not too thick) and savory, and the veggies were nice and tender. The chicken breast helped round this dish and make it a wholesome meal. I also really enjoyed the portion. I would get this again. $17.45 for dinner as of April 2024. - Prawns Di Savona: Jumbo prawns sautéed with zucchini strips, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic, served over spinach fettuccini in a cream sauce. While it sounds very appealing on paper, unfortunately the flavor was extremely bland. We ended up having to add our own salt and parmesan cheese just to give this dish some flavors. I had a really high expectation but was really disappointed. But the fettuccini noodles were nice, wide and slippery, which I loved. $18 for dinner as of April 2024. - Meat Lasagna: Beef, ricotta, mozzarella and parmigiana with meat sauce. Portion of this dish was much smaller compared to the other pasta dishes we got, but the flavor was okay - it was just a tad too on the saltier side for me. $17.50 for dinner as of April 2024. - Complimentary Bread: The bread was nice but I wish it came to us warm, but instead it was cold/at room temperature. - Complimentary Breadsticks: I really liked the breadsticks (self-serve).

Rocco's Pizza in Walnut Creek is a tried-and-true establishment known for its classic offerings and wallet-friendly deals. Stepping inside, you're greeted with a cozy atmosphere and the scent of freshly baked pies wafting through the air. During my recent visit, the service was notably swift, with our orders taken promptly and dishes served in a timely manner. We opted for the soup and a personal pizza topped with sausage, pepperoni, and spinach. The soup, a warm and comforting starter, exceeded expectations. Rich in flavor and with just the right amount of seasoning, it was the perfect prelude to our main course. However, when it came to the pizza, things took a slightly different turn. While the crust boasted a satisfying crunch and the toppings were generous, I found the overall experience to be a tad overwhelming. The pizza was notably greasy, with pools of oil collecting on the surface, and the cheese was piled on a bit too thick. This resulted in a heavy, somewhat cloying sensation with each bite. Despite the slight disappointment with the pizza, I must commend Rocco's for their commitment to providing speedy service and budget-friendly options. It's evident that they prioritize efficiency and affordability, making it a convenient choice for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends. In summary, Rocco's Pizza offers a mixed experience. While the soup was delightful and the service commendable, the greasiness and heaviness of the pizza may not appeal to everyone's palate. Nonetheless, if you're in the mood for a no-fuss meal at a reasonable price, Rocco's is worth considering.

Fantastic WC pizza pasta and salad spot. My son who is 7 says this is the best pizza place he's ever been to. He loves that he was able to get double pineapple and spinach on his own 10" pie today for lunch. I got the pizza paradiso on cauliflower crust and it was so good. We will be back. The server, Sara, was excellent and everyone was really nice. They have a party room in the back that looks great too.

First time there. The service was excellent and the gluten free pizza was delicious. Finally, a restaurant that has appropriate and affordable pricing for pizza. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the noise level... Maybe they could add some sound absorption.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza, pasta and beer

We've gone to Rocco's many times over the years. Their pizza is great and I really like the house salad. The toppings are grouped around the edge of the platter, making it easy to skip what you don't like. They have a decent selection of beers, and I usually have a glass of Rocco's backyard burgundy wine. We have had times where service was slow, but generally service is good. They can get very busy, which means they watch you like a hawk. Last visit we were barely out of our chairs and a group of staff descended on our table before we could catch a breath. One in our party had a walker and feeling rushed was not appreciated. We did not like feeling like we were being pushed out. Love the pizza but not in a hurry to go back for a while.

Downhill is an understatement. I've been coming here for 20+ years. The services is notably getting worse and worse. Now the food is honestly embarrassing compared to what it use to be

Last weekend, I went Rocco`s Pizza with my friends. I ordered a cheese pizza. It was amazing! We laughed and talked while we ate. When we were full, we paid and left happily. I can't wait to go back again!

went here for Superbowl 2024 and they had the $18.99 large 3 topping pizza which was a good deal. My GF asked for extra cheese and the waitress told us it would extra and said no problem. So how much do you thing they should charge for extra cheese ? c'mon guess, $2? $3? maybe $5? nope. $8 !!!!!!!! yup price gouging at its best! for a $19 pizza you charged me $8 for cheese. Just put a gun to my head and take my wallet Rocco Mafioso !! fugetaboutit!!!

Neighborhood pizza place. Have been going for years with our Little League teams. Sadly the food quality has gone downhill in the last couple years. I've had ok pizza sometimes and terrible pizza others. Last trip I tried something different so I ordered the open face pesto chicken sandwich. Just awful. I couldn't eat it. Soggy thrown together and it looked as bad as it tasted. I asked the waitress about that and she could've cared less. Our family used to lose this place but sadly it's just not the same.

Former fine dining chef. Food was decent. Service was probably, collectively speaking, some of the worst ever received. 6 people, 1 appetizer, 6 entrees. Server never looked up, as did none of the staff. Could not get second round of drinks. Could not get silverware, parmesan cheese, chili flakes. Restaurant attempted to turn our table repeatedly. We would have ordered dessert (2 birthdays) but we were simply handed our bill. Table next to us obviously knew staff, and had 2-4 different staff members checking on them continuously. FOH manager walked by repeatedly with head down. Never felt so unwelcome. I am aware of rude customers, but our table was conscientious and polite. Absolute mistake to go there. Ruined 2 birthdays. DON'T GO. COLLECTIVELY IGNORED BY ALL STAFF, DELIBERATELY, WITHOUT ANY CARE. AN OVER-HYPED CAFETERIA.

Our favorite local pizza spot. Their lasagna catering tray is our traditional Christmas Eve dinner too.
