It was good, UNI was off the charts great!!! but they need a full bar. The night we went, they were short handed and the manager was awesome working hard to make sure every table was covered. We had no delay in service. Could be a cool hangout if they had a full bar. Little price for us, but I'm in my 50's young peeps may like it.

First time here and was celebrating a family members birthday. Great atmosphere, food was good, and service was spot on. Honestly hard to find a lot of places that hit all three factors, but this place did just that. Wish I had pictures of all the food we had. They accommodate large parties. Servers were very attentive on a Friday evening. I think we also stayed a little past their closing time and they made no rush to get us out. Beautiful restaurant. 10/10 Also, I got to try my first Saki bomb here. Top tier saki and beer! Great drink options.

We had an amazing time and out Holiday Party! The staff was amazing g and we had our own private table. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food and cocktails also really good! I would highly recommend the vibe was perfect for a festive gathering or birthday party! The girls love all the beautiful design and cherry blossoms with lights with music. There is really nothing like this in Walnut Creek!

Took my mom here and she really enjoyed it. Great sushi and sashimi, but I felt like they could offer a bit more on their menu. I'll definitely go back though as they newly opened not too long ago.

The bar tenders are in hats and a hoodie. The glasses have chips or lipstick . The food is weak in flavor. The music has commercials . This is my third time in and I think it will be my last. Can't see it staying open much longer

We arrived, and the host service was great! Super personable and friendly host. then we sat down, and waited for almost 8 minutes for someone to come to us. Then, and once the person did, we placed our order for a starter, which was extremely overpriced, and did not taste good at all. 15 minutes later, the person came back and took our order for dinner. The sashimi was not fresh, the rolls had been premade, wrapped in saran wrap, and then unwrapped even the fried tempura was called on the inside of the fancier rolls. It was evident that the food was made ahead of time. Also, despite having at least four servers, we saw ours twice it goes to show that on a Saturday night, there were tons of empty tables and not one person at the bar. Every other restaurant in Walnut Creek is booked solid for Saturday evening, or has a two hour wait list... Unfortunately, this place will not survive, which is too bad because the decor and ambiance was very nice.

Went here on a Thursday and it wasn't busy. Parking around here sucks so you need to park near Macys. The service was good and fast. Ordered salmon sashimi and A5 Wagyu. It was flavorful buy of course expensive. Great ambience indoors. Might go back here again!

It was our first time here and it was really nice inside. We ordered the chicken karaage, Broadway roll and the carbonara. I really enjoyed the roll because it had many different textures and it was really good. The carbonara was ok. The mushrooms and mushroom flavor were really overbearing for me. The karaage was good and different with the curry salt. I'd like to come back and try their other dishes.

Slow service event though restaurant less than 50% full. Drinks came out long after we were done with our appetizers. Ordered draft beer, waiter brought bottled beer, without checking with the table if we preferred an alternative. Main course took 45 min. after appetizers to be server. The main dishes (simple salmon Nigri) for one party (of 4 persons) at our table came out 20 min after after we were all done with our dinner, even though we repeatedly reminded and complained to the waiter. Rolls were over-spicy and not great. Poor offerings of sushi rolls. Too expensive for the poor quality, poor service. Would not recommend.

We loved our time at Sakimoto's and here's our top 5 reasons why 1. The location - Bookending the beautiful downtown strip of Walnut Creek it's the perfect place to kick back after a long day of shopping some of the top brands. 2. The venue - When you walk in you'll immediately be in awe of the huge space, vaulted ceilings, upbeat music and two projectors covering the massive walls, with your traditional Bar front and center. 3. The Drinks - They have everything you could expect in the Beer and Wine category, and excel in their Cocktails and Sake offerings. If you want something unique try their Cucumber Saketini or the Sake Lychee Martini. 4. The Service - Friendly attentive staff make excellent recommendations and really know their food parings. They went above and beyond to ensure even our little one was satisfied 5. The Food - Our favorites were the Beef Carpaccio, Carbonara with Fresh Mushroom Dashi poured tableside, and the freshest Sashimi, with thick cuts of Maguro, Sake, Hamchi and more. Here's a secret: Be sure to ask your server about their specials, we had an off the menu Dessert. A totally unique take on the classic pumpkin pie cream Brulé that takes inspiration from Smores with graham crackers, marshmallows and bits of chocolate over the classic caramelized sugar.

Love the ambiance, however the prices are very steep for Walnut Creek. The sushi are fresh and delicious with its garnish. We ordered several rolls and it was adequate enough not to be super full. It was tasty and fresh, however; I was still in shock on the prices of each roll, I guess food will let you forget the costs. The service was excellent and our server was on top of it.... They have an array of several sakes and specialty drinks, just don't be surprised on the price. The decor and vibe is excellent, so refreshing it reminds me a taste of a Las Vegas night club. I recommend that this place is for couples just wanting a date night away from their young kids, definitely adults only! I will probably be back and might have to work a little overtime so I can pay for my meals.

The ambiance, food and service are impressive! We got a free bowl of edamame for our friend's birthday.

This place is geared toward a younger crowd but has delicious food and drinks. The interior is also very pretty and I had a great visit.

Gyoza was amazing, sashimi was fresh, the rolls we ordered weren't that excellent. Lobster roll was okay. The broadway roll the crab meat in it wasnt fresh. The server was extremely nice to use. Ambience was great

Beautiful restaurant. Cherry blossom overload! Staff was friendly and attentive and the sushi was yummy! Cocktail was amazing too! But if I can be petty, the only thing that I didn't like was the music is too loud in the restroom. Oh boy!
