Trying a new boba place in downtown Walnut Creek. On main street so it's great location when your walking around on main street.. First of, I always compare any boba place with Teaspoon, Gong Cha or YiFang.. so take my opinion as it is.. We bought 3 drinks. Berry in Love: non caffeine strawberry milk drink with rose jelly.. Kids will love this drink but make sure to get 50% unless you want your kids to be sugar high after drinking this.. Black Matcha: you can taste the matcha but with black tea, the match over power the black tea which I can taste the black tea slightly because of the bitterness of black tea. The boba aka pearl has inconsistent texture with the center is harder then the outer part of the boba. House Milk Tea: they use black tea as their tea. We ask for 50% sweet on this one.. personally it's a little plain in flavor. Maybe with 100% sweet will taste better? I don't know, maybe will try next time. We also order their chocolate egg puff.. my kids loves the egg puff which I agree.. their egg puff is soft in the center and crunchy on the outer part of each of the egg puff. Chocolate flavor taste like chocolate unlike other place that has artificial flavor. Overall, it's ok.. nothing jumps out at I'm term of taste of each drink. Egg puff is good, maybe we'll try different flavor egg puff.

So refreshing after running some errands! I've tried a few of their drinks Pre-pandemic but this was my first time back since. We ordered the Thai milk tea with boba and the boba was a little undercooked today. No biggie though. The thai milk tea still tasted great. My drink was the lavender green tea with rose jelly. I love their rose jelly! So so good! Also they're default on drinks is 50% sugar so if you want sweeter make sure you specify. I got 25% but wish I stuck with 50%. Nonetheless, I will definitely be back to get a few more drinks and try the egg puff waffle!

I went there twice, the first time I ordered online and pick up in the store, everything was good. This time I order a citrus splash and sesame egg puff. The staff didn't confirm with me the sugar level and gave me a default 50% sugar. It's too sweet to me, also the egg puff. I don't think I'll go again.

Pricey, but very good - I recommend!

When I can't have my #1 choice (s/o Boba Guys!), Sinceretea is my best go-to. Tapioca pearls always taste fresh, have the perfect texture and the drinks are on point. I especially love the black matcha - they don't skimp on the matcha you don't feel like you're just getting green milk . If you really want to treat yo' self get a mochi egg puff, I highly recommend the black sesame - so good!! Walk-in orders are accepted again, but I personally love the online order option because by the time I find parking, my order is almost always ready. Either way, don't sleep on Sinceretea!

Located in a busy part of Walnut Creek, it's hard not to miss this place. As a mid-afternoon treat, I decided to stay hydrated on a warm 90 degree day. There's enough tea selections that it's not overwhelming or too complicated. I ordered the Passionfruit Mojito Tea w/o Boba. Passionfruit juice is evident in this drink, not only was I satisfied with the quality, but the other component I really loved was the fresh mint leaves, what a great balance of flavors & refreshment! I also ordered the Kumquat Elixir w/boba that consists of kumquat & lime juice, butterfly pea, and green tea. The colors are not only enticing, but the quality shines through with the slightly tart & sweet flavors of the kumquat. Usually I don't order the egg puffs right after a meal, but I decided to try it. I was not the least disappointed by the perfect texture of the Mochi & the high grade of matcha powder. I would definitely visit again, thanks for a great experience!

Sinceretea is a cute little tea location in Walnut Creek if you need a tea fix (milk teas or fruit teas). I stopped by today with a friend after lunch. This place is small, but has a simple and clean feel. Due to to COVID, tables were blocked off and there's an open space to wait for your order. Or, you can order ahead online. I ordered the Kumquat Elixir, which consists of a green tea base with kumquat and lime juice. You can also select your sugar and ice level, which I always appreciate because I prefer a strong tea flavor as opposed to sugary sweetness! This drink is aesthetically pleasing with a nice purple blend from the purple Peabody(?). On a warm day, this drink is very refreshing with good tartness from the kumquat. Next time that I come back, I'll need to try the Mochi egg puffs! I remembered enjoying them in the San Jose location!

I tried Sinceretea before at their San Jose location, and because my experience there was a great one, I was pretty happy to find out there is also a location at Walnut Creek. So of course when my friend and I decided to make an impromptu trip to Walnut Creek, I mentioned that we should give this a try again, and I'm sure glad we did. After lunch, we walked over to Sinceretea for an afternoon drink. There were no other customers in the store when we walked in and they seem to have gotten their social distancing down pretty well. They only opened up the front part of their seating area (benches) for people who may want a quick sip of their drink or if they're waiting for their order. The back part of their store is blocked off so that customers can't enter - for employees only. There's reminders that masks are required. Employees are wearing masks and there are hand sanitizers available. I wasn't sure what to get, so I asked the employee manning the cash register what she would recommend. The Kumquat Elixir was one of them, and I was curious about it, so that was what I tried! I opted for 0% sugar and no ice. I'm glad they're able to make adjustments because not all milk tea places offer these options. My friend got the exact order. It took about 5 mins for our order to be made and while they were making our drinks, I got to observe the store. I love their merch! They're so cute. The store is simply and nicely decorated. The only thing I would say is that although my friend and I ordered the same drink, they're a bit inconsistent with the ingredients. Although, I don't think butterfly pea tea makes a big difference in the taste, but color wise, it was really evident that my drink had a lot less of that. Nonetheless, this was a nice and refreshing drink for a warm day. Even with 0% sugar, it was sweet enough for me. The Kumquat was slightly tangy and I think it balances out well with the green tea base. I'd come back again to try out a different flavor next time and maybe next time, a mochi egg puff! If I wasn't already feeling full from lunch, I probably would have ordered some to try.

I have had cancer treatments in the area for the last few months. My daughter who was attending school out of state missed boba, so we've been stopping here regularly (my faves are cucumber breeze and the mochi waffle). Last week my daughter ordered the waffle pin. When she went into the store to pick up the order, the young man in duty was very apologetic and told her they were sold out. He refunded her money but told her he was working the next day and could pick up a pin from the San Jose store if she wanted to come back. She declined - but that whole exchange reflected excellent customer service. We returned today for drinks and waffles. My daughter ordered the pin again. They were still sold out, but the employee refunded the pin and actually just removed her own pin and gave it to my daughter. I have been ill for the last few months. Kindness like this makes my day and just reminds me of how it can just warm your heart.

Due to COVID, you have to order online. It was a pretty easy process and they text you when your order is ready. You can even order a couple hours ahead. I was able to find parking right outside so I was in and out quickly which was nice. I wanted to try the earl grey delight, but changed my mind because I didn't want the coconut jelly that it came with and I was planning on substituting it for pearls. I was only able to add more toppings, but not remove them when ordering online. You can't adjust your ice level either. There was also only 5 toppings to choose from unlike other boba places who offer pudding, lychee jelly, popping boba, etc. I decided to order the small/16 oz jasmine pandan instead with 50% sugar which was the recommended amount. I was really interested in trying the drink with pandan since I haven't had anything like that before. I was unfortunately disappointed as the pandan didn't taste like anything at all. The jasmine tea was strong, but nothing extraordinary. I was also really excited to taste their mochi egg puffs cream. They were good and chewy. It honestly reminded me of Happy Lemon's bubble waffles that I would get at Berkeley, but this one was just a little bit more expensive. I appreciate that they gave it to you in a paper bag though so it doesn't go everywhere when you're driving. Overall, the options seem limited and there was nothing that really stood out to me so I don't think I'll be coming back.

We've been meaning to try this boba tea place for a while now and finally got the chance to while we were in the area! The drinks were pretty good, my boyfriend really loved his, mines was ehh, okay! Covid - They have you ordering online and then you can go in and pick up. It's not on the site so we weren't aware before going! The guy at the front wasn't rude but also wasn't pleasant about informing us. Prices - Pretty high for boba tea!

I literally could have choked or cut my mouth from drinking a boba from this place. I came here on Tuesday 4/27. Everything was all good, until I got towards the end of my drink and felt something SHARP and HARD in my mouth...!! I posted a pic, but it looks like it's the corner of some sort of plastic card!!! Like what... I literally could have died if I was dying of thirst and just drank straight this (exaggerating but still) .. I'm sure a small child for sure could have choked in this if they aren't careful!!! Super disappointed because I actually thought the quality of the drinks were on point and the place/ambiance itself was vibes.. they even had egg puffs that looked good. The boba was even soft and the drinks were tasty and not watered down.. not sure if I want to go back now because of this plastic thing I found in my drink.. review to be continued I suppose
