I am a serious eater and I love Starbird in Walnut Creek! I get sandwiches or salads. They are perfectly prepared and have amazing flavor. I appreciate that they survey customers about future menu items. Recently they added more salads. I tried Cali salad and loved it. Also they have delicious lemonade and ice tea besides soda

We got Thai salad with a kick I’m not one for a kick but I’m open to new things I definitely would prefer there spicy or medium spicy chicken salad it’s chicken is of the quality of chick fil a and the fries are over the top they bring me back to the good McDonald’s days when they were salty and squishy and slightly crunchy and the salt level is perfect

I love this place. I hate the layout. Never enough seats. Homeless always coming in to grab drinks since no one can see the counter. Food is great an the staff are awesome. However always expect a wait since there’s always a million dashers insider. Which use the disabled parking spaces. We sat for 45 mins an watched 5 cars park to run in to grab food.
Parking: If you come on any day but a Friday - or weekend your safe. Otherwise good luck finding parking.

I had some kind of a fried chicken sandwich that made me feel awful. Could be that I’m not accustomed to eating that much grease all at once. It was really a drag because we stopped there for a bite on the way to a show at the Pavilion. I remember how awful I felt more than I remember the show. Not going back.

We stopped coming here shortly after they opened because virtually everything they made had mint in it. I'm not allergic. I just can't stand the taste and when I asked the staff if they could take the mint out or leave the mint out I was told no. Scroll forward. We decided we just weren't going to eat there anymore. Certainly not spend money on food. I would choke on.I wish we had known they had swapped out the menu sooner. Nothing has mint on it or at least nothing that we've tried so far and everything is absolutely delicious! I had a chicken sandwich couple of weekends ago. It was outstanding this weekend. I had their chopped salad which is amazing and I even like the dressing and I'm picky about my dressings. The salad's huge. It's two meals worth at least so it's worth the price and then it turns out they have tater tots and they're tater tots are the best I've ever had. So yay!!

I always order pickup via the app. The food is usually ready within 10 mins. Lots of parking. My go-to order is the Cobb salad. It's soooo delicious. If you have an account, you can accumulate points for rewards. Really useful for discounts.I'm leaving a review because one of the employees asked me to. So give her a raise :)
