I had a very unpleasant experience at this location. To recap, I was the second in line for the bear cup drop. I was there for a few hours (way earlier than the employees themselves). I got out of work and lined up with one person ahead of me. There was only two bear cups at this location. Prior to opening the store I saw one employee (Leslie) go and grab one bear cup and show it her fellow employee (Marc) and put it in the back (leaving one bear cup out front). Once they opened the doors, the person in front of me obviously took the single bear cup up front.
When I went to the register to inquire about the one in the back they told me that they didn’t have anymore. I told them that I saw them take it from the front and put it in the back and then they switched up and said that it was for “someone else”. So basically they lied to me at first and then refused to give me the one in the back. My question is, who is this “someone else”? What gives this “someone else” priority over me and for what reason? I was very polite when confronting them. I was coming from a place of confusion and trying to understand their actions. I’m like what the heck but I was in line and I was even there EARLIER than the employees themselves and coming from my long shift at work. How is it fair for them to cut the line and take the products from customers, ignoring common courtesy and just overall decency? Please help that make sense. The employee (Leslie) checking me out at the register turned to the other employee (Marc) and informed him about me wanting to buy the bear cup and they still refused to let me buy it. When I asked for them to share their store policy and rules regarding employees buying merch on the clock they just stared at me guilty and awkwardly without answering my question. It’s like they knew they were doing something wrong but doing it anyways. I also asked for contact information for the store manager but Marc told me that he could only give me corporates number. I don’t even know if that is true. Also, the fact that they knew I was gonna seek further support form management and still break the rules is crazy. Luckily I called back and got ahold of the manager myself (Samantha).
So I leave without the bear cup and go to other stores to look for it. I come to find out from other stores that what they did is very against the rules. They are not allowed to take items off the shelf and hide them in the back for later. Some employees at other locations even got in line to get the bear cups themselves in order to be fair to everyone. I get that the Starbucks workers work very hard and deal with a lot, and I appreciate that, but follow the rules like everyone else. It’s honestly that simple. It’s not even about not getting the bear cup because that’s silly, it just how I was treated. Also, if the rules were that employees get first dibs on merch then I get it, but that’s not the case. They knew what they were doing was wrong and I even told them and yet they still proceeded to do it anyways. Anyways, I had a weird and unfortunate interaction but hopefully they can do better and treat their customers fairly in the future. I spoke to the manager (Samantha) and honestly didn’t get anywhere just that they were gonna note it down. It’s not an issue of the workers not knowing the rules, it’s the disregarding the rules and the “I don’t care” attitude that is unfortunate. It’s the entitlement of the workers that they can simple cut the line and disregard the customers. If you want to be treated fairly, I don’t recommend coming to this location. Sorry for the rant but I’m just disappointed on how I was treated and how the situation was handled. Do better Starbucks!

I’m a regular Starbucks customer and I often order lattes.
But lately almost every latte I get is overheated.
It’s so hot that it’s impossible to drink — it literally burns my mouth.
Also, I’ve ordered the Ham & Swiss baguette several times, and it’s always overheated as well — so dry and not fresh at all.
And every time after coffee my stomach hurts.
This is very frustrating.

This Starbucks could have been one of the best spots in the area — it’s conveniently located on the first floor of an apartment building, close to the Iron Horse Trail and surrounded by offices. So much potential, but Starbucks completely failed to maintain it. The place is dirty and smelly, both inside and out.
The outdoor seating area is unbearable. The smell of dog pee, poop, and garbage is so strong it makes you want to leave right away. Tables are dusty, sticky, and clearly not cleaned often. Inside isn’t much better — it smells like an old, unventilated building, and the air feels stuffy and unpleasant. Even the glass display looks like it hasn’t been wiped in days.
There are usually several employees working, yet the store is still dirty and service is slow. Overall, the shop feels outdated, neglected, and just gross. Really disappointing for a Starbucks location that could have been so nice

I’m extremely disappointed with this Starbucks location. On five separate occasions, my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for no whipped cream because I’m lactose intolerant, yet they still added it. This isn’t just a mistake; it could have had serious health consequences.
It’s clear the staff isn’t reading or double-checking orders, and after this many times, it feels careless. Starbucks should take much more care with customer orders, especially when health and dietary restrictions are clearly stated.

While I was waiting for my family, my phone had died and I struggled to contact them which left me in a state of panic. The employees there were kind enough to allow me to use their charger. Afterwards, I bought a strawberry cake pop (which tasted pretty nice), and left. Very nice people they are.

The Starbucks is one of the best. Even though they get more online orders than in person order sometimes, they really try to get your order out as fast as possible no matter what. Coffee culture is still going strong here at this location.
I wish that they would get rid of the online ordering for Starbucks entirely. It’s really not very personal if someone just comes up and grabs their coffee and doesn’t even say thank you to the person that made it. It’s actually very sad.
Other than that, this place is great. It’s on the corner and you can see it from everywhere. I love Starbucks.

Place is great overall, but I would caution trying to charge any devices here, because the outlets by the windows don't work, and the outlets in the corner are loose, so chargers will constantly fall out without something to prop them up and keep them from falling out. I would strongly recommend to anyone in charge of this Starbucks to have the outlets looked at, and replaced, so all of them work and keep anything plugged into them in place.

An incredible Starbucks with a wonderfully inviting atmosphere right off the canal trail. The staff are very sincere and always smiling and are spot on with our order in a timely manner. An excellent Starbucks to chill out at. *Johnny always provides superior customer service and spoils us when we come in. The manager is one of the nicest people on this planet and it shows-her store is so smoothly operated and efficient. Parking can be found behind the shopping complex there are two large garages to choose from.

slow for no reason.
Waited for a drink for 27 minutes, only 3 drinks were ahead. The barista takes time to joke with the customer and co-workers, the cashier just hang around.

They seem nice, but they are slow. If you’re like me and in a rush to get your coffee before work, look elsewhere. It seems as though they might be under-trained.
So slow. Reese to sit there and have a conversation for 10 minutes while I wait in line.
