Another wonderful brunch at Sweet Maple. It seems that every time we visit family in the area, we like to arrive early to enjoy brunch. Not going to say it's because of the bacon but, it's mostly the bacon.
We will be back.

I’ve been to this restaurants a couple times and my experiences have been GREAT! The millionaires bacon is DELICIOUS. This place doesn’t disappoint 😊

Excellent breakfast place. The menu is very-very good including the French toast to kill for.
Dog friendly patio in the back.

Lovely and bright place for brunch. Good food and excellent service. Looks like Millionaires Bacon is what they are famous for but didn't get to try it. Everything we ate was delicious. Will be back for sure

We put ourselves on the waitlist through Yelp and sat down about an hour later on a holiday weekend Sunday (their voicemail says they don’t do reservations on holiday weekends). Note that Yelp lags; Yelp said we were in line but their system had already removed us from the waitlist. Thankfully, the hostess was nice enough to seat us anyway.
Atmosphere was super lively, vibe felt very LA. Service was friendly. Menu had a lot of choices, almost overwhelmingly so.
Food was tasty but I have some thoughts. I got the galbi omurice and there were like 5 small cubes of meat. The entire plate was taken up by a giant hunk of rice covered with an egg. Bad value.
Mango mimosa and Millionaire’s Bacon were good, though bacon was a little on the sweet side for my taste.

Despite the high prices, I was excited to try this spot based on the unique menu. There were several appealing items and I went with the Tornado Galbi Omurice. I’m sorry but it was not good. The food was served luke warm. The rice was bland. The eggs had an odd texture. The short rib was in a heavy gravy, and did not remind me of any authentic Korean galbi I’ve had from many Korean restaurants and friends home cooking. It was too sweet and saucy for my taste. Nice atmosphere, good service, and the coffee was ok.

First time trying Sweet Maple. Not the best experience. Food was average.
Our server took our order,he had a device (which looked like that is where he placed the order). When the food came, one of our orders was NOT our order. We came on a Tuesday for lunch, and it wasn’t even that busy, not packed. So I had to wait more time for the right order. This should NOT happen. He even had the device to put the order…so i dont know how you could mess that up.
I think they’re overpriced to what they’re serving.
I wonder if this is the case at SF’s branch. Hopefully not.
On the bright side, the atmosphere and ambiance was pretty neat. However, there were so many flies. Lol. This is the one and only time im eating here.

I have been to the sweet maple in the city. We love that location. I did not get the same experience here. The bacon is the bacon no matter where you go so that was good. Everything else honestly, did not meet the same standard for us.

I have been waiting for Sweet Maple to come to the East Bay and it did not disappoint! The ube latte was on truly an ube flavor. So good! The croissant waffle was the bomb and so was the French toast. The star of the show was the millionaire’s bacon. Delish! Met the owner “A” and he was super nice and hooked us up with a table on a busy Sunday afternoon when they weren’t taking anymore waitlist. I will come back with more friends!
Update: Came for 2nd time and ordered the fried stuffed french toast! Ugh, so so good! The best! I suggest you share with the table. It’s a lot. And the Tornado Galbi Omurice is the die for!

1st time dining here and was so excited but maybe we ordered the wrong thing. We had 2 crab sandwiches and a BLT and the crab sandwiches were subpar! There wasn’t a bunch of crab and it was super sweet which was odd and just disappointing. We ordered a fresh squeezed lemonade which didn’t taste like it was fresh. Will have to give it another shot sometime. I really wanted to love this place. I will say the bathroom was very nice!

Nice environment with a solid menu — the food is tasty and portions are generous. The brunch itself was definitely enjoyable and nicely presented. Coffee, however, was just okay — not bad, but lacking the coffee aroma and nothing special compared to the food menu. Overall, a good spot if you’re looking for a nice brunch experience with friends for casual gathering.

Went twice in one week after being introduced to the restaurant with a volunteer breakfast from Trinity Center.
Although you might think of this as expensive for brunch, the quality of the food is excellent as is the quantity. What really clicks for me here is the service and the warm and loving kindness of the staff and owners. They make you feel as if you belong and are so welcoming. Although the interior space may be a bit loud due to its popularity, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. There is also outdoor dining on the patio. I think this will probably be my number one go to place in Walnut Creek. Sunday’s are busy and you can enjoy the farmers market around the corner if you have a bit of a wait.
