The food and service were amazing. I love a good breakfast, and it blew my expectations.
This place is absurdly good. The food is delicious, the portions are fair, the restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service is incredible.
Waited about 25 minutes for a two-top on Sunday at 11:00am. Once seated, we were greeted within a couple minutes for drink orders. Drinks came out in two minutes flat. Server came by a couple minutes later for food order. Food came out within five minutes. After the meal, our server brought me a to-go cup for my unfinished beverage without me even having to ask, she literally read my mind, it was nuts.
I will be coming back here as much as possible to work my way through the entire menu, of which I’m sure everything is delicious.
Unlike crumbs in Pleasant Hill, this place does not make you wait 1 hour to get seated, service is great and fast and food is delicious. You want a nice brunch, great atmosphere and delicious food, this is the spot.
Everything about this place is top notch. The menu is very creative and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. I had no idea it was here. I am a Bay Area chef and I’m so happy the chef decided to expand from SF to Walnut Crerk.
Great service. Really nice ambiance. Good portion size of food. Delicious bacon. What more do you need. Def worth checking out. Nice addition to walnut creek area.

It’s been a while since I last visited Walnut Creek, and just as long since I’ve been to any Sweet Maple location. So it was great to see both—the city and one of my favorite brunch spots—still as good as ever, maybe even better. Even better, I got to check out Sweet Maple’s new branch in Walnut Creek, which was a treat in itself.
The new location has a classic charm, and from the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Service was smooth, always there when needed without being intrusive.
The vibe feels even more refined and balanced—if you know Sweet Maple, you know what to expect. And of course, the food delivered. The Millionaire’s Bacon was as excellent as ever, the scramble was perfectly done, and even the potatoes—something I usually leave behind at brunch—were so good I finished them all.
If you’re looking for a bright, comfortable, and easygoing spot for a great morning meal, this is it.
